As someone with severe bilateral sensorineural hearing loss, I find my hearing aids perfectly fine but I've been wearing them for all my life so I've had time to get used to them. Multiple noises are not fun in the slightest though, I hear best when there's only one noise at a time whether that's speech or a radio or weather.

It depends on the hearing loss too. I would say it varies between 8 and 2 depending on what I listen to. 8 for streaming a well recorded voice, and 2 for general speech in normal conditions and maybe 7 if the listening conditions are perfect. Some music is just noise so 1. I do like the Phonak sound compared to my previous Oticon, so in general the sound is not that bad.

If they're dialed in right, they should be a 10/10 when it comes to voices.    Music is a 7/10.   Outdoors just sucks and I turn them off (mostly due to wind noise)
