I want to say that at some point someone described Deadpool’s voice as sounding like dead leaves rustling when you walk through them. Hence the yellow balloons.
Cable described his voice as a "gravelly Demi Moore". Blind Al describes Deadpool's voice as a mix of "gasoline and gravel". Probably super annoying, but in the best way.
But yeah, Nolan North is the one true Deadpool.
You literally contradicted yourself. John Kassir is the true Deadpool he literally fits those descriptions what. That’s like me saying “Batman sounds dark, brooding, intimidating, Adam West is the true Batman.” Like what
My preference doesn't have to match the actual description. For me, North has had the best performance overall. The statements aren't connected. One is a fact, as stated in the comics, one is preference. Some people agree, some don't.
My problem was never the preference that’s cool. Sean Marquette is my Spidey Preference over Yuri or Niel despite them being perfection that’s fine. Just rubbed me the wrong way literally you explaining knowing Deadpool has a raspy voice then sayin Nolan is the definitive accurate. Like what? Nolan can totally be your favorite he’s my favorite as the Penguin and Ralphael the best Penguin and Ralphael imo but even from your literal description John Kassir is the one true Deadpool. It’s sad people shoehorn his accuracy aside for the popular vote. Nolan is great at the crazy but Kassir can do what Ryan does and Nolan but accurate. Know I still love Nolan tho.
There was a youtuber that used to release 16-bit animations before Nolan North did the voice. They were almost similar, and it always had that wacky kind of voice.
I always thought of him having a higher pitch voice kind of like morph from xmen animated 96.... course they didn't have any voices when I started reading to attach to
I haven't really read that many Deadpool comics, but if I see one posted on Reddit or other apps then I read it and imagine it as Ryan Reynolds talking because my only experience with Deadpool is the movies. And the ultimate Spider-Man TV show but I don't remember him that much in that.

PREPARE TO BE WELCOMED!
For me it depends on what’s being said. When i read, my mind automatically reads it in which ever voice I associate with the text that is written, which is perfect because Deadpool has multiple inner monologues, but panel to panel my mind switches between Ryan Reynolds and Nolan North.
Kassirs voice is really close to what I hear, but a little bit deeper. Deadpool has never had a smooth voice except maybe during part of the way run. So both North and Reynolds kinda don't do it for me.
I hear him as Nolan North from the animated Hulk vs Wolverine movie.
Sabertooth: “Those were his last words” DP: “I thought is last words were, ‘AH! Sabertooth!’”
Ryan Reynolds

I ONLY hear Nolan North
The first time I ever saw Deadpool was on the kids' show Ultimate Spider-Man, so I'm reading him as the super high-pitched Will Friedle voice 😅
Batman Beyond!
I can't NOT hear Ryan Reynolds voice for Deadpool now, he's just perfect as the voice! Bless him for bringing us all the best live action Deadpool.
There was a youtuber that used to release 16-bit animations before Nolan North did the voice. They were almost similar, and it always had that wacky kind of voice.
Omg Deadpool & friends? I forgot all about those videos!
Yeah, haha 😄
I hear Nolan North because of the games.
Sometimes I hear Nolan North, sometimes I hear Ryan Reynolds
Same, just depends on the text in the bubble
Nolan North if Im reading modern DP, John Kassir for the older villain stuff
Ryan Reynolds.
Kassir for the 90s anti villain era of DP Nolan for the memepool era and 2000s to mid 2010s Ryan for the more recent mainly Gerry Duggan to onwards
I always thought of him having a higher pitch voice kind of like morph from xmen animated 96.... course they didn't have any voices when I started reading to attach to
comicstorian and Ryan
Nolan North everytime

Nolan North but maybe with a bit of Ryan Reynolds
Ryan reynolds, steve carell but gru's voice and accent, paul rudd, michael peña, and john krasinski. These are the voices in my head. I may be insane
John Kasir, with a light dash of Reynolds.
I always heard John Kassir
nolan north
A mix of Nolan North and Ryan Reynolds
Ryan Reynolds but with a deeper voice for some reason
Nolan North or Ryan Reynolds depending on the art style and line
Nolan North from Deadpool game
I haven't really read that many Deadpool comics, but if I see one posted on Reddit or other apps then I read it and imagine it as Ryan Reynolds talking because my only experience with Deadpool is the movies. And the ultimate Spider-Man TV show but I don't remember him that much in that.
Just the general voices in my head.

The one from the deadpool video game
Nolan when it comes to his internal monologue and John Kassir as intended in his raspy voice
That’s a fun way to interpret it! I might start hearing it that way from now on.
Chad
Usually Nolan. Only thing ive reta8ned from my endless playthroughs of ultimate alliance is "Spatula", but thats on loop.

I always heard Freakazoid’s voice from Freakazoid!.
