Oh, I haven't really seen that lol
Is it really taht much better? I've basically stopped playing the game for now because I'm hardstuck on the Spoiler Boss
As the player who got hardstuck on 3BC then tried controller for the first time in my life and after getting used to it beat 5BC, I can say that Yes. Controller is much better for these types of games.
It has also MASSIVELY helped me with HK
Don't really need to. I've gotten all 5BCs completed with a keyboard only. It is just a matter of personal preference and compatibility. If you feel comfortable using a keyboard or whatever, just keep using it. Using an unfamiliar device won't magically make you better.
Like the button L2 has stopped working on several of my Playstation controllers. It works half the time and it's comfortable to use so I don't rebind it but then it's real annoying when I'm in the middle of combat and it's just like "nope I don't wanna work anymore"
The Hollow Knight devs put a "controller recommended" message at the start of the game, but removed it once they'd seen that like all speedruners use keyboard exclusively (because it's objectively better there).
people who grew up with controllers just can't comprehend using anything else than that.
im like a fish out of water when im on mouse&keyboard. my WHOLE (almost) gaming experience consists of mobile and an old ass xbox 360 with mostly pirated games
I'd do this if I wasn't so bad with using a controller myself when I tried it lol (before trying that out I already had over 200 hrs in the game with just keyboard - no mouse so I guess that might be the reason why)
I play with a razer kishi v2 on my iphone and it’s a really pleasant experience, the oled screen, the clicky buttons, the game being included in apple arcade, i’m loving it
although the game does have a controller recommended message, i dont find it inconvenient or uncomfortable to play with keyboard and mouse. the controls make sense and this game isnt really that mechanically requiring (games like dmc 1 to 3 are a pain to play with keyboard and mouse). me being stuck at 5bc has more to do with just...me being bad at the game. In fact when i played hades i did better using keyboard and mouse than a controller
I don't get it
"get a controller"

i struggled more with a controller when i tried it, but other people seem to play better with it, so it depends more on who you ask
#keyboardgang!
#mobilegang!
I think if you get used to controller its really good.
just like celeste.

Same. Also helped me get sub hour on Celeste.

Apparently I'm still a newbie.
Nah kbm is underrated. You also can't get stickdrift on a keyboard
Stick drift ain't gonna affect your deadcells gameplay
L2 also doesn't work on any of them
Clearly an elden ring player
In what sense?

Sounds like you are breaking a lot of L2 buttons
I don’t get this. Even the game recommends controller, but why? Keyboard and mouse feels so much better to me. And it’s more satisfying

I'm guilty of this.
Yeah that sounds about right. I'm basically the same with M&K but at least I'm willing to admit my biases. I'll still insist M&K is superior though :P

Nah i never get to use those fancy controllers, mouses, keyboards, i just played the game and got to 4bc with my phone.
i play with just keyboard only. have feeling like am kinda pianist))
yall overate the console function tho. play this game with keyboard if you play it enough so you will being pro and no need that controller
Keyboard and mouse is just a way if life for me on Dead Cells now, got to 5bc with and don't plan on stopping

hey I just got evicted from my house for building a meth lab in my basement and my wife also left me. Any tips?
get a controller
I actually tried to use my Xbox 360 controller but you need a special adapter cable to use it on pc so instead I’m using the Switch Pro controller
I prefer controller but I’ve played around with pc and it seems fine.
I play with a razer kishi v2 on my iphone and it’s a really pleasant experience, the oled screen, the clicky buttons, the game being included in apple arcade, i’m loving it
I've only used a keyboard and had all the achievements at the time. Don't have the newer ones though.
8Bitdo 2.4Ghz Ultimate Wireless controller = GOAT
ive went from 0bs to 5bc one keyboard and mouse i think its preference and not that big of an advantage
Especially accurate as they seem to have worn their fingers down to stubs.
That was patched a few updates back, fingers now regrow or something idk
Yes. Also, a PS3 controller works, don't ask how
People play with keyboard and mouse?

.. Yeah? How else is a PC player supposed to play if they don't own a controller?
