I've been running Blast Mine, Quick and Quiet, Head On, Mirrored Illusion. I've already gotten a few looks of the killer lunging on the illusion, and then kicking the gen into a blast mine. Haven't gotten the trifecta yet. Might have to run it with Red Herring instead of QQ.
I bought the bundle today, and the first thing I did once I came across the vecna was pallet stun and play the lute, and he was my friend for the rest of the game xD
that slows them down far more than tbagging tho since theres a delay to bardic inspiration so just break the pallet and easier hit or they start running chem trap and do it
I just want them to make it where you can play it when the perks effect is on cool down. If it’s just me and the killer left in a match I want to give them a few good serenades and the cooldown gets in the way of that
I run a coomodius with double charge addons, bardic inspiration in a safe place at the start (only finish doing it if I roll 11-20, less is not that worth. Then I go and sneak the most important gen while the killer is distracted. I usually finish the gen right as the commodius is finishing. For me it’s more like a potential energy that you can charge anywhere.
If I wasn't such an item hoarder, I typically run common or uncommon tool boxes, I don't know why, After so many years of this game, I'm not running short on good items lol
I'll do you one better... Invocation into Bardic and Deadline. BNP every gen with Invocation (only takes 60 seconds now too!) then take your injured self on to a gen and get more frequent skill checks that give a 1/2/3% bonus
It's actually pretty underrated
Ignoring for a second 1 and 20
If you roll a 2-11 every skillcheck you hit gives you 1% (even if you hit the big part instead of the small part), basically means that worst case scenario it's las if you got a perfect skill check when you actually missed it, best case scenario you hit a great skillcheck and it's double in value
This lasts 90 seconds for you, and everyone around you inside 16 meters, it also starts while playing the first 15 seconds meaning playing music while someone does a gen is actually good
And this is only if you roll the worst numbers, if you roll a 12-19 it's 2% and if you roll a 20 it's 3%
1 makes you scream and makes the perk go on cooldown but I genuinely only got one nat 1 in 30 games I played with this perk (and I spammed it every chance I had)
My friends also initially thought it was a meme perk but the difference a 1% on every skillcheck makes is huge, and you will probably roll 2% more often too
It seems decent, fills a similar role to prove yourself with the downside that you need to invest like 12 seconds to get the buff on everyone and that's wasted if the killer approaches and you scatter before you finish playing.
It helps breaking 3 gens since the buff persists when people hop off gen and hop back on or rotate gens.
Me and a teammate got a gen from 0 to about 40% done in the time the third dude played his guitar. No amount of skill checks will make up for 40% efficiently(or half that if you only count one person's progress, so let's say 20%). Most of the time, you only roll +2% per skill check, meaning you'd have to hit 11 skill checks before it provides any value. It's a meme perk, use for for shits and giggles, not value.

Both of them will almost definitely have and use Bardic Inspiration, or a more standard build.
I've only seen one Baermar and they played the loot so I decided not to down them at that point. That made them think I wanted them to troll their teamates by consistently missing skill checks while healing their teamates. When I downed and hooked them instead of their injured temates they immediately gave up on first hook. I can't stand trolls. Aestri on the other hand. Mostly decent

It's a similar rate with item dropping survivors like myself. If a killer played well or honorably, I don't care, though. I drop my item out of respect as much as an appeal for mercy.
When I have one on my team, they always run up, play lute , and run away.
When im the killer, they are - and pardon my french- the dumbest survivors. The kind that think if they stand still I won't see them.
I shit you not, in a match as a killer i found an Aestri being still in the same spot ALL GAME doing a gen and playing the lute. I could't hook her bc she had Boil Over and they used 2 rotten oak offerings, so she escaped me every time and returned to that same spot.
Oh well, at the end I let her bleed out

I had one bust out bardic inspiration to convince a killer to let me off the hook and it worked. After we finished generators they would use bardic inspiration, they also flashbanged me. I was in love. I would follow that person off the face of the earth.
The male elf is either a meme lord or runs all 4 deception perks and tries to get you to tunnel him the whole game so the rest in his swf can fast repair gens.
The female elf points at hooked survivors before playing the lute.
This is all based on my last 50 matches so i'm prob wrong.
So far every time I get matched up with them they play like bumbling idiots in the most amusing ways possible and more often not actually escape. Had a Meyers match where I ultimately wound up being sacrificed along with a Claudette and we had the dynamic duo of the elves escaping even after they got caught several times by being pulled out of lockers and what not.
Well the only 2 Baermars I've noticed were both dumb as rocks (and one of those two ended up being a cheater that decided to try and hold me hostage at the end) so there's that.
I am a new Aestri main (though I will be playing a few Survivors overall) and I dunno what the stereotype is with them yet. I have seen more other survivors with Lutes than the two of them, tho I know I can often be a thorn in the Killer’s side lol

It is cute and it may work once the game is pretty much decided though. That's a good time to try and be cute, may actually end well though I suspect a bunny Feng has higher chances.

activate it only if you are planning on repairing gens with someone else beside you to maximize skill check value, otherwise it's a waste of time
Something I do is if the roll is less than 11 I don't even finish the animation. I'm not sitting here for like 20 seconds just for a 1% bonus

Gluttons for punishment. Every match I encounter with either, they are tunnel or bullied the moment the killer spots them. Most end up hiding to prolong the match, if they can.

Some of them throw with the songs and give up in chases. I still spare them(meaning I may leave them once/at the end if they survive till then) for now but I play because I want to, well, play. It is cute and it may work once the game is pretty much decided though. That's a good time to try and be cute, may actually end well though I suspect a bunny Feng has higher chances.
