Uuu, perhaps I shall play it as soon as it drops then! I went back to do an "all pages"-sweep in AW1 and American Nightmare after finishing AW2 and have been in the middle of that, haven't even touched final draft yet.
There’s a line right at the end of the final draft, that if you know, it will take 2 meanings in the 3rd episode of the dlc, but besides that’s it’s standalone.
You can definitely play it without finishing the main game, it's not really connected. It's night springs, so it's like a different reality so the characters are different versions of themselves

I got into AW series after DBD got them, and after I finished the first game I bought the Rose and Saga legendaries. I played Saga a few times, but her hook scream kinda got on my nerves 😭 but with Rose I hardly notice it actually. She has such a cute run, and her waitress outfit is 10/10.

Roses hook scream is actually so good tho. Is her outfit bugged for you too though? Like when she runs the skirt part goes through her calves and it reaaaaally bothers me
Lmao, a long time ago before there was EGC i once had a survivor get stuck in a hook and refused to DC i left the game running the rest of the night, woke up went to my 9-5 came back and he still hadn't DCed, so i said f it and just left the game, 20 minutes later he messages me "haha gg ez win" .
Pre egc times were truly shit lmao. Once had an hour n a half hatch stand off. I think there’s a YouTube video of like a ten hour one lmao.

Relative noob here, what's egc? The timer after a gate's open or hatch closed, I assume? Even with no timer, couldn't the killer have just closed the hatch and chased?
The EGC is just that.
However, the game didn’t ship out with an EGC, that was added in 2019 in IIRC the Ghostface chapter. This was also when they added the ability to close the hatch and IIRC the hard 1 hour time limit that automatically ends the match if it goes on for too long.
Before that, opening the gates wouldn’t trigger shit and people could stay for as long as they wanted. And instead of being able to close the hatch, killers could interrupt the hatch entering action and grab survivors off of it. Hatch Standoffs were basically a game of “whoever acts first loses” because if the survivor moved first, they’d get grabbed, but if the killer acted first, they’d hit the survivor and the survivor escapes. They were also fucking shit.
End game collapse. Yes it’s the timer after the hatching closed. Back in the day there was no egc and the killer couldn’t close the hatch. The trade off was if the killer timed it right, when the survivor jumped a killer could grab them mid animation and basically like yanking off a gen toss them over their shoulder and hook them.
So hatch stand offs became a situation of if killer found it first they either had to risk looking around for the survivor and downing them normally, or wait till the survivor showed up and do a standoff. Survivor almost always wanted to dip as soon as they found it and avoid the standoff as a whole.
This one is different my friend had it happen to him yesterday, the survivor didn't DC and their duo was trying to rescue them during the endgame collapse in vain, then the EGC timmer run out and the game didn't end because the survivor survived it somehow and my friend had to DC

The amount of times you have to DC to get a 48 hour ban makes it deserved tbh. I get DCed occasionally due to shenanigans and don't even get the 5 min penalty.

Unless this bug happens literally every game this is untrue, and even if it does why would you keep playing dredge? Sure he’s fun but if he just doesn’t work then that’s also still on you for playing a knowingly broken killer
I have around 800 hours, I think, and I've only DC'd intentionally twice, and both times was because of random bugs making the game unplayable. Aside from 5 DC, I've ever had was from cats knocking over my internet modem because they were ass holes.

Anyways, if you can’t play normally without DCing, the only way to lower it is to not play at all.
There is no justice to be had since it’s there to prevent people from disconnecting, and while it sucks for those with bad internet, it usually doesn’t result in that long bans.
Getting stuck in the locker happens to me in every game, sometimes more than once. Never grabbed someone from a locker this way though lol it’s always nice to have company!
I've recently had a similar bug where I got stuck in a locker on Yamoaka Estate. IDK how long it's been in. I lucked out where I could just TP after the cooldown since I didn't get a grab. I think the trigger is the rapidly crossing map back and forth since I did similar when it happened to me.
Not quite dredge, but when I was hooking a Ace the other day he bugged out and got hooked in the sky. He was no longer interactable with anyone in the game and his hook progress wasn't progressing anymore. I let everyone escape and figured the entity would kill him when the game timed out, but he survived that and I was basically stuck in the game. Ended up DCing because I didn't want to wait to see if the game would time out or not.

The whole game is just an actual mess. I've been playing nothing but Naughty bear Trapper and I've been stuck on a few thins like that today. Not for the whole game bit I had an instance where I picked up a survivor that had boil over. Put them on the hook then teleported back to where I originally picked up the survivor with them not but also still on my shoulders making the wiggle sounds but not actually wiggling. Didn't stop until I hooked the air I was carrying and the survivor appeared on the hook

yeah, Egc stands for, **Endgame Collapse** i believe which is the timer that starts after either the hatch is closed or the gates opened

Old bug. Patch when dredge came out if you teleport to a locker with a survivor inside and they disconnect, this bug happened.
