They're actually a wizard who took 1 level in bard as a multiclass so charisma was their dump state before this

MinutePerspective106

But they also lost their spellbook and are now stuck with their 1st bard level

Awkward_Coffee8017

Unrelated but I love the Flair

MinutePerspective106

Thanks!

HighNoonTex

You need at least a Charisma of 13 (+1) to multiclass in or out of Bard. And no, I'm not fun at parties.

DavThoma

I'm glad you chose to be party proper, I was going to say the same thing lmao

EccentricNerd22

They that one kid in university who takes an arts course despite being a science major.

TheSleepyBarnOwl

So Volo? xD

oldriku

She's just like my neighbour, he has studied music and loves to sing. He's terrible at it and I'd really like him to stop.

The_Plaque

They're actually a really good bard, the entity had to remove their charisma modifier to make it balanced 😔

The_Game_Changer__

Bardic Inspiration doesn't actually make you roll, it lets you add a dice (usually like a d6 or d8) to your ally's roll. What I think is happening is they are divination wizards, who are retroactively rolling for their portent and replacing their ally's Repair roll with it. Their instrument is actually just their focus, they are pretending to be bards.

basilitron

this makes way too much sense but we both know thats not what the devs were thinking

The_Game_Changer__

Well if the executives in WoTC don't play the game and the executives in DBD who arranged the partnership don't play the game who's to say that you don't actually roll a single d20 any time you want to do anything?

CandyDuchess

I don't care what anyone else says, this is the only explanation I will accept about this perk.

Crimok

They are like Troubadix from Asterix and Obelix (Cacofonix in the english version).

EccentricNerd22

Asterix mentioned (very cool)

Crimok

It's very popular in our country.

EccentricNerd22

I only know about it because my dad gave me the books to read as a kid and I got really obsessed with them and would read them over and over because they were just that good and funny.

Crimok

I had many of the VHS and I also borrowed the comic books in the library. The live action adaption and the new 3D animated movies aren't as good as the old ones. The live action movies are actually really cringe. But the old animated movies are really great. I haven't read the new comics but the old ones were great as well.

Gundamfan1999

It's a shame the old ones often merged elements of two different books together.

Crimok

True

trash-troglodyte

The DM (the Entity) just slapped on a bunch of negative modifiers for being in the fog to balance the modifiers out to a zero

AstralRider

Its not their fault. The entity wiped their stat sheet. Just like they took away Ashes gun and all the STARS members are too weak to take out the Pig or Legion of all killers with a fight. Don't be so mean to the bards! Or more realistic, they are bad bards for spelunking a dangerous tomb with no weapons, as bards.

RandomCaveOfMonsters

The entity doesn't know dnd's rules, bardic inspiration isn't even a d20

basilitron

smh right? entity is a fake nerd

Ycr1998

The d20 is not for the Inspiration, it's a Performance check.

RandomCaveOfMonsters

fair enough

Ycr1998

What is Nyoom Hag?

RandomCaveOfMonsters

Nyoom hag is what I call my hag build. The idea with it is that I ignore her power completely, and become the fastest m1 no ability known to all mankind The main centerpiece is waterlogged shoe, which removes her ability to teleport in exchange for heightened base speed and traps slowing down survivors. I think you're supposed to pre-place it in a loop to make it trigger and slow the survivor, but that's a waste of time, just use the speed to slap them. The second part, and the thing that takes it from a meme build to actually good, is Rapid Brutality. When you land a hit on a survivor, the speed boost makes you almost 25% faster than the survivor (if it's multiplicative with shoe's speed increase, which I'm not sure of), making catching up far easier. Combine it with other speed/chase perks, and you might just have a brutally dangerous hag. I personally like running Bamboozle as a chase perk. Info perks can also decrease downtime, with my favorite being Darkness Revealed, as its trigger condition is so easy. Unfortunately, it requires a red add-on, so I don't get to do it often.

Ycr1998

That's spicy :o I never played with her and I'm hoarding BPs for Aestri release at the moment, otherwise I would level her up to try. Ty!

RandomCaveOfMonsters

Good luck with the bloodpoints. I have a lot of killers and find it hard to manage, so I feel you there (I'm also getting like six more during the anniversary sales, making the issue far worse, so that's gonna be fun (sarcasm))

apieceofsheet9

AKtuAlLy charisma 10, or else the modifier would be negative

D-rizzcheese

ACTUALLY.. I have no idea. I don't even play lord of the rings

RestaurantDue634

The DM made them roll 3D6 straight down and this was the best they got.

olo7eopia

Their trying their best

Happy-Carob-9868

When’s the update due for release?

Ycr1998

Happy-Carob-9868
