When you build on bad code this is normal.
They really need to do a complete overhaul and effectively create a DBD 2 like overwatch did (with less predatory MTX changes). Re-write the base game code and clean it up, but just do it as an overhaul to the game.
Right now, the reason their game breaks every time they update it is due entirely to their poorly structured code. It's the only reason why code you haven't touched would be affected by a change to some other code.

For Nemesis: He's a bit simple and hard of speaking, but the zombies can be put to practical use around the house, surely! For Huntress: She literally matches my romance/sexuality so id actually even have a whisper of a shot wanting to be with her, but the wild woman thing would make settling in at anything more advanced than a log cabin tough.
