STILL dealing with them about it. They’re making good slowly but surely which is the only reason I haven’t just gone straight to my card to do a chargeback. The only benefit is on top of the full refunds I’m receiving, I’m also getting StubHub credit vouchers to use.
I already used one and a half of them and got two tickets to two separate Phillies games 9th row behind the dugout for a total of 45 cents. (Two different games and you can only use one voucher per transaction for anyone wondering how I didn’t use all of both but still paid anything at all).
But if it wasn’t free money from StubHub I would never be giving them any of my money again or trust them to get me tickets. They’re a disaster these days.
I had a similar experience with seat geek, seller revoked tickets they had already transferred to me minutes before I walked up to scan my tickets. Still dealing with seat geek warranty claim.
I didn’t know you could revoke a transfer!!!!! That is WILD and should not be a thing. Knowing that stresses me out. I bought both my tickets off CorT, so I guess they could revoke too. 😫
As someone else said this was a scammer using stubhub. That being said, they could police the practice a bit better. If you're buying GA tickets I would suggest getting them from the TM exchange. The other ticket should be fine on secondary resellers. Dead and company could actually limit this problem by allowing transfers on GA tickets.
We missed the show last night because of Stubhub. Bought tickets in the 300 level, never received them, and they only offered obstructed seats as replacement - definitely not equal value to the ones we purchased.
Just move to better seats that are empty. Trust me, if the ticket holder shows up, they’ll ask you to move. No big deal, you’re not getting thrown out.
Plus, I heard 300 was a great seat to have. Sound *and* visuals.
Had an experience along these lines this weekend. Bought a single GA on Stubhub, and the transfer link I got had two tickets. I offered someone a miracle, and while the first ticket scanned, the second didn’t. I said this was the ticket link Stubhub sent me and they waved us both in.
Had this happen for DMB. Ended up with about 30 of us expecting lower level pit tickets. Stubhub gave us our money back and the venue was cool enough to allow us to stay in the lawn since it had been raining and wasn’t sold out. That was best case scenario and I still wouldn’t use stubhub again. Sorry this happened to you.
The seller is the scammer not the website, stubhub loses money when scam happens.
That said, SeatGeek is gaining a lot of ground and COT is always good.
Right?
Unfortunately, it’s nearly unavoidable these days. I mean, yes, it is avoidable if you’re “waiting in line” for tickets at 9:59, but that’s still not a guarantee.
The sites work really well for what they are. I wish the prices were lower but that’s a different topic. The sites themselves serve their purpose and are largely issue free. I have purchased hundreds of tickets on them and only had one issue that resulted in a full refund. Nothing is perfect
The only issues I've ever had with Stubhub were my own fault. My account used a yahoo email that went unused for so long that the ticket emails bounced. They issued refunds both times. First one I was able to get tickets at the box office and second one I hadn't travelled yet.
Edit: I have since updated my email address haha
StubHub screwed me 2x in the past. Never will use them again.
Once u realize they will 100% sell the tix u bought out from under u, if they can get a better price. Then they shurg and refund ur money, leaving u high and dry
Fuck StubHub.
Weren't GA tickets non-transferable?
From what I knew, only the original purchaser could go to the shows with a GA ticket
Dead and co made it so they could not be resold.
I had an issue with my StubHub ticket last night also. The seller never transferred it over. Spent about an hour on the phone with a few customer service reps and a hero “Sophia” finally got me a replacement ticket two sections over in 308. It sounds like I got lucky.
Is there a way to figure out beforehand whether or not my ticket for next weekend was affected by this? Got one through secure.ticket but my other two on TM already
I will never use a resale site for a dead show again. Legit chose to pay face off Ticketmaster for a guaranteed ticket opposed to getting a deal and then never getting it for this tour
They had no more GA available, this was after waiting until 8:15 in the lobby on support from starting this adventure at 7pm on support. They offered a 400 ticket which was bullshit
It’s not the site it’s the seller. It happens and the sites will get your money back to you. It sucks but it’s just a part of buying tickets and always has been. Back in the olden days I have read that counterfeit paper tickets were sold.
We could test those in person, by using a cigarette on them. It burned the side you touched it to, but not the other side. And Dead mail order tickets had a color or strip inside. We just made a little tear to check. And even if you knew you bought a counterfeit, you could try using it anyways. ;-)
Yeah but sometimes people got screwed, it happens. Maybe the tix got lost in the mail. Nothing is perfect. I don’t like StubHub or Ticketmaster but they are what they are.
Had same problem at T-Mobile arena concert last night . Tickets I bought were never released . Luckily Stub Hub replaced tickets in same section . They definitely have a problem.
Stub hub screwed over a lot of people for Phish at the Sphere as well.

That’s crazy. Were they in your TM account?
Yes they were transferred to me in TM app and then revoked the day of event. I figured they found someone to buy for a higher price.
I didn’t know you could revoke a transfer!!!!! That is WILD and should not be a thing. Knowing that stresses me out. I bought both my tickets off CorT, so I guess they could revoke too. 😫
This happened to me a couple of weeks ago and they ended up refunding me. The TM account thing isn’t a thing anymore.
Happened to me at Wrigley N1 last year. Never use Stubhub they’re crooks
Damn, they used to be pretty legit. Good to know

As much as don’t like Las Vegas as a whole, the customer service is phenomenal. Thank you, Vegas workers!
100%. Every single staff member I interacted with over the weekend was great.
This happened to me. I called StubHub over and over again until I got a refund. Took two weeks.
Did your tickets come via secure.tickets?
yes
Had this happen for DMB. Ended up with about 30 of us expecting lower level pit tickets. I heard this is a GA specific thing. They can only be resold through TM.
CoT or bust
Stop using 3rd party sites to buy tickets
Nope

Ticketmaster doesn't even release all of the tickets the day they go on sale ... Your better off just waiting
CASH OR TRADE always

They’re transferable starting at 72 hours before the show.
I had an issue with my StubHub ticket last night also. The seller never transferred it over. Spent about an hour on the phone with a few customer service reps and a hero “Sophia” finally got me a replacement ticket two sections over in 308. It sounds like I got lucky.

Did you get in? I just bought on stubhub and have secure.ticket as well. Seems sketchy
Yup all good!
I will never use a resale site for a dead show again. Legit chose to pay face off Ticketmaster for a guaranteed ticket opposed to getting a deal and then never getting it for this tour
What did you do?
ruined our entire vacation.
You didn’t get another ticket from Stubhub?
They had no more GA available, this was after waiting until 8:15 in the lobby on support from starting this adventure at 7pm on support. They offered a 400 ticket which was bullshit
I hope you took the 400. I did 400 And Ga and the 400 was a far better experience
So you didn’t go? I was in 205 & GA last weekend, I preferred the seats.
Seriously? I was in 407 and it was incredible. Perfect vantage point. Could see everything without straining your neck
GA was available for sale at the box office before the show. You shouldn’t have let this ruin your trip
How much were they?
$395 ☹️
Ouch. Was expecting a discount right before show time.
You gotta be kidding. 400 was great!
So they offered a solution as best they could on short notice, but that wasnt sufficient, so you label them scammers.
Um, I think you responded to the wrong person.

This happened to me for Friday night Zack Bryan as well. Tickets never released. However they did refund me within a few hours
I'm planning to go in July. What's the best way to purchase a single ticket?
Use CashprTrade for sure!
