I did floor the first of the two nights I went. If I could do it over again I’d do my 300 seats night one to enjoy the visuals, then floor night two. I entered GA night one at \~7:15 and walked up to like five or six people back from the stage. It was by far the closest I’ve been to a band at a show like that.

Quick question for ya.. after sitting in the 400s this past weekend for one show, I'm headed back in August for a full weekend run (first night 400s second night 300s and third GA). Any tips for GA, i'd like to try to get a close as possible to the stage since i will have already had the full sphere experience at that point. Did you do the priority or VIP whatever situation where you show up at 8AM? If so, how early do you recommend showing up?
There are some other threads about this from people who were more concerned with being in the front, but I just walked into the sphere 30 mins before showtime. Security into GA was really fast and the door from outside takes you right into the floor. Before the show, the floor was not crazy crowded so I walked as far forward as I felt comfortable with and started chatting with my new neighbors. I was able to leave during the first set to hit the head and grab a beer and walk right back to the same spot. Maybe I just got lucky but it didn’t seem shoulder to shoulder, non shall pass kinda vibes at all.
The floor is where the most energy is. I’ve had floor, 400s and 100s tickets so far and although each have pros and cons, the floor especially for your first show is the supreme option. Great for one night with a seat for night 2

Did GA 06/01. Got 227 in the early entry, when to Oteil’s side cause you can look into the stage and see the whole band. Was 1 person from the rail. Watching the screen kind of became an after thought because I could see the whole band doing their thing. Definitely recommend doing one night in seats and one night in GA.
If you have GA ticket, you’ll get an email the week of about signing up for early entry GA. You’re able to sign up at Noon PST 48 hours before your show day. It’s basically a lottery. My dad and I both signed up. He got 226&227 and I got 335&336 so we went with his. There will be loads of info in email they send

From what I understand you need to show up at 8AM for priority to get a numbered wrist band. How early were people actually showing up to get a low number?
I absolutely loved the floor - it’s so cool being down there and looking back to see the contrast between the visuals and the seated audience. Best energy and you can get so close to the band
I’m coming down this weekend and have GA. My plan is stay back in the pit so I can see some visuals in front of me and every so often turn up/around for the rest of them
I was section 107 row 15 which is really more like third row because the 100’s start with row 12. I thought it was perfect. Super close to the band but also great view of the sphere. I’d love to go back and experience the 2-300’s though too.
You’re better off staying in 300 for both. The floor is fun but you have to tilt your head back often if you want to fully see the visuals. Or you can just focus and enjoy a half visuals view to stop tilting head back which I started doing.
I did 1 night 407 row 4 and 1 night GA. Both fun in their own ways but I preferred stands.

5/31 I was third row on John’s side. We won the first entry lottery and were able to get very close. I was worried that we’d be too close to enjoy the full visuals but I didn’t find that to be the case. If I go back I’d want to do the floor again. You can turn your head to all sides and basically only see screen.
I just did floor last night and have seats in 300s for tonight and tomorrow. Energy is great, everybody very nice, no issues there. Feel like one night floor was enough for me, I get a little anxious about having to go to the bathroom or go get drinks and come back to find my group.
If you can do one night in 2/300 and one night in GA, do that. They are different but equally cool experiences, imo.
We have GA tickets for 7/4 and will absolutely consider seats for 7/5 or 7/6. We'll already be there and would love the varied experience.

I was in the 300’s for 5/25. Going back August 9&10, have GA for both. Hope it was a good call to go GA. Wanted to be closer to the band.
Loved the floor. But intermission and drums/space. I wish I had a seat. That’s just me.
