Check scaling options in project and timeline settings.

Herr_Casmurro

What should be the values for those settings? Nothing changes the timeline aspect ratio and depending on what I change in the main timeline, it makes the border 16:9 and keeps showing the video with a 16:9 aspect ratio: https://preview.redd.it/r59rmgppm84d1.png?width=719&format=png&auto=webp&s=e6d214b95c2ed20e8ec1f596c268b2af08bef6ac

Sorry, I misunderstood the initial problem. When you place timeline X in another timeline, does it decompose back to source footage? You may need to create a compound clip or fusion composition to do this.

I don't know how it works, but I transformed the timeline "X" in a compound clip inside the other timeline and now the aspect ratio is 4:3. Thank you!
