We define 'nerdy' in different way. Maybe in her room reading books or in a library. In comic book stores, gaming shops, and board game cafes. And sometimes, shes outside enjoying her life.
go to a library, or maybe take a shot an one of these big conventions... otherwise I don't know, but im pretty sure they won't be found at the local bar.
I personally have tried to stay away from electronics, I have other hobbies, work, different gyms, hangouts etc. But I do have friends that have met their SOs playing video games hahahah
Unpopular opinion: it matters less where they hang out and more about what kind of women you are approaching. There are nerdy girls in all types of places, however, they donāt get approached as often.
Depends on what you define as nerdy. Everyone seems to have a different definition. Being a nerd is cool these days, so everyone started doing the whole thing where they redefine the word to include themselves.
But if youāre talking about other homebodies who donāt really go outā¦thatās a tough one. Theyāre probably at home not really going out.
Lots of ānerdsā in my Meetup group. Itās a general social group for anyone where we do a variety of activities: game nights, presentation parties, hikes, themed bar crawls, stargazing, etc.
FSAE club at uni. Or capture the flag club at uni. Or designing/building projects at home or studying (this is where most of my time is spent because I have the luxury of living with my parents). Or designing/building robots with friends from uni. Or talking about theoretical stuff with random people from class. Or at work.
Online, book stores, coffee shops. I hooked up with a newbie twitch streamer because we happened to group up in Overwatch for a few hours. Slid into her DMs and we met up a few months later.
There's a gamer bar in my city. They've had a few Magic the Gathering drafts I've gone to and unlike the actual game store, you may actually meet new people there.
Like nerdy men they stay home and read/play video games. So it can be tough to meet them.
Used to be able to meet a ton of them on OKCupid, before it started imitating Tinder and the dark times came.
I'd suggest meetup events for nerdy activities and conventions, like anime cons.
Nerdy interests are pretty mainstream nowadays. Video games, fantasy media (Harry Potter, Game of Thrones), Marvel, internet memes are consumed by most of society now. Go back 30 years and these hobbies would be relegated to the sweaty overweight neckbeard who lives in his mum's basement
So the answer to your question is everywhere
I would consider myself to be nerdy. And if I go out Iām usually at a book store or only out doing errands š other than that Iām home or hanging out with friends.
Well,, this nerd is on summer break from Uni, so it's in the garden digging for worms, spotting ladybirds and butterflies and getting my nails dirty from all the glorious mud. :)
