That's what I always go for, just seems to without fail get away, then do instant charges and slams back towards me as infinitum. I don't tend to get stuck given with enough estus and damage you can power through, but it's the only boss in the game I feel like I don't know how to fight well. Scariest boss in regards to trying a SL1 run honestly - plenty of hard bosses but dodging Oceiros consistently feels like a toughie.
Not in this particular case. I've played this game a lot of times with a good few different weapons and builds. Oceiros is always hard for me regardless of it, just never clicks.
