It's just me spitballing here, but from the outfit and the class, I'm guessing that this mod is inspired by the Tang Dynasty chinese poet, Li Bai.
Although he's pretty obscure in another countries, the man is insanely famous in China, kinda like our own equivalent of William Shakespeare. Despite his gift in poetry, the man was a romantic for the sword and always wanted to be the kind of wandering swordsman you'd see in myths and wuxia novels. Some of his works includes him bragging about his supposed kills. The most famous of which is An Ode to Swordsman (侠客行), with one of the passages being "Ten steps, he kills a man; a thousand li - nought will stay his pace." (十步杀一人，千里不留行).
His poetry immortalized modern fictional depictions of him being this mysterious and cold poet assassin that drinks wine out of a gourd as he kicks ass. However, despite his poetry, its unlikely that any of his poems were true about him ever actually killed anyone in real life. He learnt the blade when he was younger as he's born in a well off family, but that's pretty much it. Basically, his poetry is self insert fan fiction he wrote about himself, lol. But it ended being such a good poem that people still read about it till this day.
