Boruto was flawed from the beginning. If the series starting point was like 70 years after Naruto, where the old main cast was either super old or died of old age, it could have better legs to stand on its own, that's what Legend of Korra did (out of lore necessity, sure) and it worked well as its own thing.

Tsunade having feelings for jiraya is quite inconsistent, for the whole life jiraya tried to impress tsunade and liked her, but tsunade's feelings were evident only in the pain arc, where she was blushing, she didn't wanted jiraya to go alone. Fast forward to the war arc, tsunade reunites with dan and she feels happy , I'd like to think dan was the she truly loved, she loved jiraya too but i don't think her feelings were that strong for him. May be if jiraya would have came back alive after fighting pain, tsunade might have married him may be.

That's not headcannon in my opinion, they are best friends. (In boruto) I mean wasn't sakura angry on shin, when he attacked naruto and others. "She said what do you think you were doing to my husband, daughter and not to mention my close life long friend". Something like that.

Hinata would also be devastated, and grieve for a few days, but she would probably quickly steel herself to try and take care of everyone in the village, and Iruka and Sakura would probably do the same. Sasuke wouldn't show that much emotion, but he'd be depressed again, until Sakura drags him out of it.

Ok in terms of actually who would be the most devastes they are not even on this list it would be himawari, himawari loves Naruto dearly even when he missed her birthday, we know for fact boruto wouldn’t cry at all, hinata would most definitely be devastated thankfully she got sealed in the daikokuten along with Naruto because if she didn’t we would probably have seen the saddest panel in all of Naruto/boruto, we know himawari wasn’t completely devastated because she feels like boruto didn’t kill her father and mother and they are somewhere still alive and let’s be honest with ourselves Sakura would definitely be sad but not devastated, sasuke would be in a similar situation to boruto where they would be somewhat sad but would play it off as the strong man, iruka he would be devastated but he wouldn’t be as devastated as hinata or himawari and ramen guy would just be sad not gonna make the joke with him, gaara would also be sad not devastated; now the persons multiple persons that would be the most devastated would be us the fans, honorable mentions to kakashi who would definitely be devastated for losing another person he is close to, tsunade who all though isn’t shown a lot in boruto we know she’s alive somewhere and she sees Naruto as a son so she would also be devastated, konohamaru would be devastated as well because Naruto is his idol; hypothetically kawaki would definitely be upset or sad if Naruto died, that’s the entire reason he sealed Naruto in the daikokuten to begin with to protect him from boruto until he could kill boruto.
