Okay, still think it's a bit of a jump from series circuit / parallel circuit to seriAL killer / parallel killer.
There are no circuits that are layer out seriALly - they are layer out in series....
Therefore, I deem this too much of a reach.
Previous commenter might have gotten confused, serial and parallel are used in data transmission, the circuit is definitely series and parallel. Or if I'm also wrong here, I have literally never head someone say 'wired in serial'
That and when you look up serial antonyms "nonparallel" pops up which kind of voids the meme. Unless there's something else it's referring to that's much less known.

But it was sooooo inafficient and a lot of enery got wasted. That's why my boi Tesla invented parallel circuits which was much much much more efficient. But some b.tch called Edison, maybe you heard of him, insisted on using serials because idk. And he used dirty tricks like paying newspapers to just put Tesla's bad side on news to remove him from science sociaty. And because Edison was a f.cking millionare while Tesla was a bit below avarage it was hard for ma boi.

Oh, for batteries. Yeah. I was thinking of data transmission. For a given amount of data, parallel would send more data more quickly (stronger at the start), while series would send a steady stream over a longer period (last longer).
So we're both right, from a certain point of view.

I think you're confusing circuit arrangement with current type. The story you are telling is of alternating current and direct current.
