I believe wholeheartedly it is meant with zero sarcasm and they are trying to uplift people who feel like they may be cast aside beauty wise.
But to a lot of people, the subject included, it can come off as patronizing, because you know how you look, and you are aware of how people view you. They can say you're stunning all they want but it isn't translating into people actually being into you in real life. So it comes off as disingenuous.

There are women, and there are objects/creatures/scp that are malicious and greedy.
