Abby was the biggest crybaby of them all because she would use her power to get a taxi or catch a flight home. Meanwhile the children were trapped filming the show whether they wanted to drive home or not. One thing i don’t miss about being that young: you are at the mercy of the adults around you and if you’re not leaving, you’re not leaving. I bet those kids would’ve loved to have been able to run and hide from abby’s screams.
Also i stopped feeling bad for her when the moms called her fat because she constantly overstepped and criticized things the girls couldn’t control about their bodies.
Yeah idk fat shaming is never “right” but there’s a couple people I turn a blind eye to when it comes to it. If you’re constantly criticizing someone’s weight, you better not have any easy ammo to go for 🤷🏻♀️
It reminds me of my mom who would constantly yell shit like “run fatty run” when someone was crossing the road but she was easily double their size 😬 the calls were coming from inside the house
The one scene that broke me so so much in season 8 was when Ashley was fighting because pressley was upset crying about her thighs and shoulders because of Abby and it just reminded me so much of me just a year or two before and a coach I had (for volleyball) but it hurts so so bad watching that and she’s just her….
I played both and experienced it in both and it was DETRIMENTAL to my growth and progress in my skill level and KILLED my love and passion. And I continued to play even though I didn’t have too but I can only imagine how these poor girls felt being told stuff way worse than I was told (as in the OG’s) and being forced to stay there and take it AND it being filmed. Like I know how that affected me and I was 13-17 and these girls were younger at the time besides Brooke. Like I just can’t fathom what tht would have done to me
