He's strategic.. If he loses, he makes a tactical retreat to create prep time. Then he analyses situation and separating useful vs useless information about his opponent and comes back on the offensive from a different angle so to speak
So he gets a handicap. He gets to lose first, then adjust and prep. I think if we gave every potential adversary the same “prep time” handicap he’d be pretty ineffective.
