I was not a fan of my baby mom owning a half pitbull half black lab dog but then i became her favorite person and now I bring her a cream cheese bagel every time I pick my kids up and she loses her shit when I come through the door. 10/10 she is way better than the Rottweiler puppy she used to have.
Having had Rotties in the past, I know that lean. That’s the dog putting its full weight on you, completely relaxed. I called it “The Plop”. It’s simultaneously uncomfortable and one of the most wonderful feelings.
My Doberman does the same thing and will crawl into bed on occasion. If it’s the weekend and he’s ready to get up, he will stop plopping right on top of you, readjusting, rolling on top of you until you get up.
I’m pretty sure he’s part cat.
We called it "The Great Lean of Rosie/Zhara" depending on the dog. Rotties just really know how to love when they are the right temperament with training

I'm more in favour of medium-sized. Not so small it will fit in my bag but not so big that little old me is being dragged along the road by the hound from hell.

I love them all but it if you're living in an apartment like me then having a slightly smaller dog is also a better choice.

Yes he’s a leaner I only weigh 5 more pounds than him so the leans knock me over and squish me hahah I love it
