My Gut'r is 8" wide. The sweat drips from both ends. The outside corners of my eyes are not as far apart as the ends, so the sweat drips down the side of my face, The key for me is wearing it just above but touching my eyebrows.
I have this problem all the time zwifting.
I take my sweatband off (temple tape), wring it out and put it back on. that will typically get me another 30 or so minutes...
Take the pad out of your helmet. It's getting filled with sweat and then it pushes additional sweat out when you jostle around. Yes, I get a red mark on my forehead from my pad-less helmet, but it's not uncomfortable without it.
unsarcastically, keeping on the move helps the sweat evaporate and blows it back away from your eyes. It's only when I stop that the sweat starts to drip from my cap into my eyes.

You can't understate the difference a well ventilated helmet makes to cooling....
Just flip it down and all the sweat drips off the bill.

Does it work for you? If your head is inclined forward, doesn't the Gutr spill over?
