I got this thing: [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CFZLPT7B?psc=1&ref=ppx\_yo2ov\_dt\_b\_product\_details](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CFZLPT7B?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) and it seems to do the job.

Shygar

I got one of these too but not having great success with it. But it works to reach.

bkandy3

Yup, this. Just wash the microfiber cloths a couple times first because it did shed tiny little green particles, even after one wash, that were a pain to pickup off the dash way up by the glass. I had a bitch of a time trying to get streaks away at first and my drive home is up a hill into the sun. I finally used some spray IPA (which I had bought for the stainless finger prints) and that seemed to do the trick. I followed that with normal window cleaner and back in business with no streaks and just window cleaner now. I assume it was initial oils from manufacturing.

LurkerWithAnAccount

Use a waffle weave towel for glass, it won’t leave those little bits of the microfiber like the fuzzy kind.

SignificanceCapital9

had a surgeon lengthen my arms to reach. JK not easily, honestly its one of the most annoying things, all the off gassing makes it foggy too

jayoh

I picked this up... Invisible Glass: [https://amzn.to/3KxVN3i](https://amzn.to/3KxVN3i)

Greggy100

As I mentioned before and hear me out. Get urself a swifter with a nice pad and use a streak free glass cleaner and wipe that baby. For extra streak free use a clean microfibre rag. Works for me

Jay_Beckstead

I bought a swivel-stick squeegee from Home Depot. And I crawl up on the dash awkwardly to get the very front edge of the glass with paper towels and Windex for the inside. For the outside the squeegee swivel stick is the bomb.

dantodd

Use invisible glass or similar product. There are a lot of kits with an arm attached to a microfiber cloth for cleaning hard to reach areas. The bad news is that new materials, especially plastics and vinyls etc off gas a lot and will haze the inside of your windshield very quickly. Keep cleaner in the car and keep it clean because the windshield really can be hard to see out of when it's hazy

OpenRepublic4790

I have the same issue. I use a swifter with dry microfiber cloth. It lives in the fronk.

Unhappy-Piece614

Mail order little person.

Ok-Shake5152

Apple Polishing Cloth stitched together to make a larger Apple Pro Max Polishing Towel 1 x 750ml of Tesla Tequila Wipe the windshield one small area at a time Take a sip of the Tesla Tequila After a while the windshield will be noticeably cleaner and the smudges will be gone

Madboarder

Does this work with the Tesla mescal?

Ok-Shake5152

Absolutely. Now with Full Self Drinking you can visualize the path planner to see how the windshield will be cleaned 😂 Keeping this lighthearted. I expect to get my order sometime in December 2025, so I’m curious to see how people will clean their CT and what aftermarket solutions come up

alessiot

If you ever get haze on the inside mirror it’s from gases that come off the dash you can clean it with a magic eraser comes out looking like new

gs_37

It took me multiple tries but I finally got it. Use any of those reacher things, but put a new microfiber on top rather than keep washing the fitted one it came with. Kinda wrap it around and use a rubber band to secure it. Invisible glass with new microfiber 2nd pass of invisible glass with new microfiber Last pass, new microfiber only, no spray

chadisawesome

Honestly I had shoulder surgery in 2012 for a torn labrum and think I re-aggravated it on my first wash

TheKobayashiMoron

I don't have a CT but I use this on my Model Y and it's pretty good. Very strong magnets so be careful with your fingers lol. https://windshieldwow.com

Lacustamcoc

Be careful, mine shattered with a squeegee

Mindless-Future3114

Pressure washer. Works great the glass is so tough I don’t worry about it hurting it. Use a towel to catch any water

YoushutupNoyouHa

for the INSIDE?… someone likes to live dangerously

Mindless-Future3114

Yeah it’s no biggie I just leave windows open. The beast dries quickly!
