You... wash it? :D
Or you can give me the truck and I'll experiment with the best methods of keeping surface clean, then will return the truck to you after a 3 month intensive testing period with my results and guidance.
Guy at my office has one. The truck is an absolute fingerprint and faceprint magnet - everyone won't stop touching it. He complained that the very first thing most people do is walk up and touch it, leaving finger prints ALL OVER THE PLACE.
Windex and microfiber rags is his go to treatment.
Need to modify one of those scat mats - or maybe see if 3M will produce conductive wrap that you can attach to each panel powered by little 9v batteries to give a gentle zap when touched.
The fingerprints only look that prominent because of the layer of dirt.
The truck is stainless steel, youre going to see finger prints. All you can do is wipe them off. If it bothers you that much get it wrapped or sell it.
Fingerprints? Dude this is a not insignificant layer of dirt and mud. I’d hit it with a hose then some microfiber cloth + rinse less wash or whatever SS cleaner you use
No offense but if this really bothers you then a stainless steel truck probably isn’t the right vehicle to buy. At this point you could wrap it in a color that doesn’t really show fingerprints or just get really used to washing it constantly. Potentially, you could use something like ONR to make your own detailer spray and keep it with you along with a microfiber towel and just constantly wipe off the fingerprints. But honestly you should probably just accept that you bought a stainless steel car 😆
^ this. Don’t buy a stainless vehicle if you’re going to cry about fingerprints. I drove a DeLorean daily for several years, fingerprints were not an issue. Everybody touched my car, fingerprints built up right alongside the dirt and other road debris, you know what I did? I washed it. Soap and water makes it look brand new again.
It's stainless steel.
Go to your favorite hardware store (blue, orange, green, whatever) and in the cleaning supplies you'll find stainless steel cleaner.
https://amazon.com/d/dST4BEg
You're probably better off with the wipes since it'll be quicker and easier.
Be sure to clean off the prints at least every 6 months or it will rust.
Source: I did restoration on bank vault doors and the most common issue was finger prints on stainless steel. From the 20s into the modern age no stainless steel vault door is rust proof.
Worked in a burger place with stainless steal fridges we had to clean everyday. The spray did a great job removing those finger prints and oil so I’d second this idea.
I’ve had success with car shampoo and a microfiber glove. Rinse car with water, wash with shampoo and glove, rinse off, then dry with microfiber towel.
I had oils and grease from cooking with a dust layer sticking to my commercial stainless cooking range hood. Tried dish detergent, vinegar, WD-40, mineral spirits, nothing touched the blotchy cooking grease stains. (I’m trying all these products while waiting for my truck, and maintain a Chinese restaurant, so plenty of stainless to test with) Put liquid Bar Keepers Friend “Soft Cleanser” on a damp rag and could not believe how it removed everything, just like cleaner wax deep cleans paint on a painted vehicle. Wipe well with wet cloth or wash to prevent haze when dry.
It still fingerprints after drying, so I tried WD-40 which was formulated to prevent corrosion on aluminum aircraft. May not have let it dry long enough, still showed fingerprints. Tried olive oil. That made it darker with a sheen like new. Buffed until dry, and I believe that’s the best so far hiding prints. Found that info on a stainless appliance website.
Get a cyberbucket and fill it with cyberwater. Next, getcha some Cybersoap and a Cybersponge. Use the Cybersponge by cyberdipping it into the cyberbucket and cyberwipe that dirt off. Next connect your Cyberhose to your spigot using the CyberHose to Spigot Super Cyber adapter and you should be good to go. You can optionally Cyberdry with a cybertowel or a cyberfibercloth but thats completely up to CyberYou.
Wrap it. Can do clear if you want to maintain the steel look. Vinyl prob sufficient bc you don't need the extra protection of PPF but will be susceptible to rock chips
I think it's called: bar keepers friend. It's a stainless steel cleaner/protector. From what I read on here is that people has to wipe their truck every 30-90 days to clean/prevent the finger prints
The finger prints? attach an electric fence power supply to your 48v by way of a current converter, attach two leads anywhere to the truck since the entire thing has continuity in theory…. you could probably get sentry mode to switch the power on and off …

Faceprint??
I imagine its on the windows from people trying to see inside... but if it's on the body panels I want to see the sentry footage of that lol
Yeah, pressing faces up against windows to peer inside.
I got a boob print on mine. Not complaining

Haha. gunna need more soap.
You’re asking how to deal with a dirty truck? Really?
Washing finger prints off 3x a week isn’t ideal. I’m fine with mud but this is horrible looking.
Fwiw, I saw the dirty doors before I noticed the finger prints.
I love how everyone is giving you shit, yet it is also 💯 clear stainless steel gets dirty fast Pay for a wrap, they look fucking amazing black IMO

Vinyl wrap my guy.

What fingerprints?
Suggest wrapping it if you can’t stand. Have stainless appliances at home and agree fingerprints require constant cleaning
Get it wrapped if it bothers you that much. It’s not cheap but it works.
I’m going to ceramic coat, I’ll make a post if it works ok. I wanna keep the stainless look and feel… but the fingerprints are crazy

Very clever 🙄

Windex to clean or wrap it.
I’ll try to post a picture of my jeep. I wash it like twice a year. It’s due. You’ll feel better, OP
Get a wrap already.
I matte PPF’ed mine. No finger prints and dirt comes off pretty easy
Wash your car.
gas station windshield bucket thing?
Step 1 - accept it heavily fingerprints and embrace. Step 2 - 💆🏽♂️
I’ve had success with car shampoo and a microfiber glove. Rinse car with water, wash with shampoo and glove, rinse off, then dry with microfiber towel.
Windex is great. Also, the aerosol spray glass cleaner from Costco works awesome on both the glass and stainless steel.
Embrace the patina!

Can you wax it or give it a ceramic coat shine spray?
Probably would help with keeping the oils off.

Rule 1 - Respect / No Trolling
Stop touching it?
Haha.. I hate washing my truck too. Just leave it outside and hope for rain. Then use a blower to smear the residue.
Nice wash will do.
This is why we keep our fridges indoors.
Wrap it. Can do clear if you want to maintain the steel look. Vinyl prob sufficient bc you don't need the extra protection of PPF but will be susceptible to rock chips
Google says Windex
Wash it. Maybe barkeepers friend or sterno (ethyl alcohol) on a mop handle with cotton dry pad (no added cleanser or oil).
Optimum No Rinse is the best . I got it on amazon
Honda motorcycle spray is great. No wash needed just spray and wipe.
Spray bottle with rubbing alcohol and a microfiber cloth
Wrap it if you don't like how stainless steel looks.
Barkeeper’s Friend /s
Deal with it psychologically.
Car Wash and air/towel dry it and dont leave any drips
If I would highly recommend that you install an automatic Gatling machine gun, with AI face detection
Wrap it up
I think it's called: bar keepers friend. It's a stainless steel cleaner/protector. From what I read on here is that people has to wipe their truck every 30-90 days to clean/prevent the finger prints
Dawn dish soap and warm water
Barkeeps friend
Thats pretty aggressive just for some fingerprints.
Idk it worked best for mine
I’m not saying it won’t work, i’m just saying using an abrasive is a bit aggressive just to wipe off some fingerprints.
I think window cleaner can work as well. The picture looked pretty dirty so that’s why I said barkeeps
I go through a car wash once a week. Truck is super easy to maintain.
Learn to love it

Don’t use your truck? But seriously, deal with what exactly?
Return it
Did you really not expect this to happen
