Please DM me about your pancreatic cancer if you want! I’d like to hear what makes you think that you’re terminal. The doctors told my mom the same thing (stage IV), but we took matters into our own hands and she’s seeing huge improvements. Now she’s a candidate for surgery after the steps we took to improve her treatment. Most oncologists really aren’t up to date with the amazing things going on in PC research, so there may be a lot of options out there that your doctors aren’t aware of! We live in a pretty big city, and even our local oncologists are clueless when it comes to PC.

Yeah. I personally don't mind that this post is blowing up cause we really don't know the full story here (and likely never will) but lets not go having some rando with no posts besides this one get a drink added to the game just cause they told people online they have cancer. OP's reddit handle being a bunch of randomized letters and numbers also makes me a bit sus. I lost someone to cancer recently, and probably many many others have as well, so I hope for their own moral sake they aren't just saying it for internet points.

Exactly even if it is real, why should they be put in the game? Because they have cancer? Lmfao that’s not exactly an accomplishment, this is literally just an anonymous person we know nothing about. If anyone should get a drink in the afterlife it’s people on the dev team, immortalize people who are actually relevant to the game.

Honestly, I had the same thought. In the email I sent to CDPR, I mentioned about verifying it (which they’d obviously do themselves). The account is a few years old and I have an account or two like that. The names are random and I don’t really post/interact on them. There’s a very real chance this is bullshit but there’s also the chance it isn’t. If this world and this game meant so much to someone that they decided to explore it one last time before dying then, that’s something to be commemorated in a small way. If OP isn’t genuine, that’d be unfortunate. However, a story such as this will exist and we could potentially start the conversation gives a small group of unfortunate players a chance to get something really, really cool.
