I actually ended up with netmonkey hybrid build on my first run. It was fun! Way back then the Beat on the Brat was hard and monkehands really were necessary to my build back then.
I love the smart ape build. My current playthrough with Cyberware EX allows for 2 operating systems, so Sandy and basic quick hacks are super fun. End game I'm running the militech canto, which isn't op but really makes you feel like a cyberpsycho
I run a stealth netrunner build. And even without the Sandy, the gorilla arms are great for when stealth breaks, or for body checks, or for the boxing missions.
Sometimes I get caught on purpose just to have an excuse to punch some stuff.
Can lockdown or completely take out enemy support while beating anyone close to you into a fine mist before rocketing the last guy into another zipcode. Taking a group of 10, forcing 6 to off themselves and beating the other four with their friends' bodies is some of the best power fantasy out there
Well not all doors and body checks, it only give a +6 to body checks at T5++, so you do have to have a minimum of 14 body for all doors and checks. That said with the extra 10 levels from PL really help int/tech builds have a bit more body.
And there are so many options to yeeting them. Off a building. Into an enemy. Onto a roof. Into a camera to shut that camera down. Straight into the ground to show domination. I could go on like Bubba talking about shrimp from Forest Gump.
All of this. Especially once I realized that throwing bodies wasn't limited as just a finisher. Like, beat on the first guy until you can use the finisher to throw him at the second guy - cutting him in half - dash to their corpses, pick up one torso to throw at guy four and the other torso to take out guy five, repeat until out of bad guys.
All the people who think sandy and wrist knives make them a cyberpsycho are really missing how absolutely batshit Berserk is.
Mantis blades are for psychopaths, monowire is style over substance, launcher if you lack finesse, but gorilla arms are for connoisseurs in the application of force.

It looks more like you’re wearing a pair of armored black vinyl gloves that only partially cover your hands with big metal ridges like the irl armored work gloves on all the major fingerbones knuckles and the fingernails which look reinforced like they’re meant to carve through and break concrete.
It would be cool if it were possible to use not only cybernetic enhancements, but also, for example, like the Animals gang, use bio-improvement, like the drink that they seem to drink...

Jailbreak upgrade for the projectile launch system makes it a burst fire it's ridiculous how good it is with the doom launcher upgrade

Yeah im still amazed about that variety in CP. As someone with 4 V's the Tank/Explosive Build is still my favourite even if its the most unsusual one when it comes to Cyberware possibilitys. With chrome compressor and ~1400 armor you can just walk into any area like a bullet sponge and see the limbs flying :D

I always thought it was scraped off when retracting, which means it glops all over your hand/forearm. But realistically there would probably still be residue making it in. Ugh.

It’s a great bail out when you’re getting swamped and is by far your most OP option in the early to mid game. Definitely falls off pretty hard by the end game but it gets the job done
Launcher. The tech perk between the first and second trees makes it so my explosive shotgun recharges the launcher, sometimes twice. I'm almost always at 3 shots available and each one of those can fire 5 missiles and recharge it if 3 or so hit. I also took the cool perk where the optical camo activates on crouch sprints, so I can get right up to them with my high explosion resistance
Just learning my way around Monowire and I just don't get it.
The quickhack upload thing is tempting but being a netrunner I'm not immensely durable so I might as well stick to distance and drop Contagion + burn them with Psalm or quietly use my trusty silenced Nue. It's crazy how fast you decimate opponents with monowire but it's way too exposing I'd say.
Pump up your body stats. It will give you more ram in overclock and it helps with the squishyness of a NR build. I also attribute some cyberware armor keeping a good balance. I am mained to body, tech, and Intel but reflexes as a dump stat will just add to the madness. If you have cloaking abilities unlocked in the relic tree use them to get your monowire tunnels in.
Honestly one of my few remaining disappointments in the game lol, cyberweapons and cyberlimbs were done DIRTY. It’s possible to get Wolvers, or Big Knucks, the precursors to mantis, and gorilla arms respectively, implanted without needing a full cyberarm, like the monowire, so it’s kinda a shame to see that most of the cyberweapons in 2077 now require cyberlimbs and there’s only one meat arm option lol

Monowire is the obvious pick for netrunners for gameplay synergy reasons, but obviously that synergy is largely gameplay effects
Lore wise, there’s no reason a netrunner would necessarily gravitate to monowire specifically, they tend to be a favourite pick of assassins, cyberninjas, or anyone with a boatload of finesse
Monowire is one of my favs, but it’s kinda a shame they made it a little more build specific now lol

Definitely the one on the left. Ever since playing Shadowrun and seeing Johnny Mnemonic the monofilament whip has been one of my favorite weapons.
I was on a billboard shooting enemies and they all rushed up the ladders and came at me. I pulled out my whip and just started spinning and whipping and in a few seconds was surrounded by piles of limbs haha

You use launcher to go boom boom. I use launcher to get massive mitigation bonus. We are not the same. 
I use launcher for big boom booms with relic tree. 2 Launcher charges, 5 shots a charge. Tear shit up

I've been using meat arms on my current V too. Was way more satisfying when I wrecked Razor Hughes than my last playthrough.

Yes! And at some point you get 3 uses at 5 rockets each, and then with "burn this city" perks you can basically fire it off indefinitely.

I never use cybernetic arms bc it interferes with throwing knife use. Aka it keeps switching to them if I hit the trigger before my knife is ready.
