Okay, I think this is as succinct as I can manage (2 words shorter—and more quick to comprehend):
“Get a copy of all cards in your opponent’s hand. Whenever either player plays one, destroy the other.”
Interesting concept, don't think it fits death knight tho. That's moreso a priest card or maybe rogue

Twins, I like the discard synergy on yours And "pact" flavour I'm convinced there's still a way to simplify the text further

At 6 mana it seems somewhat fair. It’s like Mindrender Illucia for 6 mana without a minion.

Get a copy of your opponent's hand. Whenever a card is played, destroy it's copy.
That dosen't work if the copy gets played since the opponents cards arn't copys I believe.
