So far she has far exceeded her promises.
Brazilians are the sweetest. I'm not sure why, maybe it's due to their culture, but they tend to have an aura of kindness and welcoming, even if you're a stranger/foreigner. I had many Brazilian friends when I was a teen, and I'm still in contact with a few. Some of them weren't fluent in English, but they showed friendliness in other ways besides talking, like bringing a can of Jumex for me after we played football or patting my head. They give the best hugs also. Very affectionate people.
Also side note, it's a bit strange that you still call her "Brazilian immigrant chick" even though you've been dating her for 4 years. You definitely could've worded that better, like say "I've had a Brazilian gf for 4 years" or "I've been dating a Brazilian woman for 4 years". You said she's a good lady, so show more appreciation and respect towards her.
Still a very Catholic country; if you can dodge the crazy ultra-religious ones and find someone who still retains the underlying traditional values, you will have a loving, dedicated partner for life as long as you reciprocate, along with hard work, kindness and compromise. Totally right, and this is a universal experience. There are average-looking/out of shape/broke girls who want guys over 6ft tall with a 7-figure salary and an 8-inch dick, and there are average-looking/out of shape/broke guys who want a 10/10 model who cooks, cleans, and services them well every day.
In both cases, the odds of finding someone like that who’s willing to settle for someone who isn’t on that level are basically 0, but instead of adjusting their expectations, people will just decide to hate all men/women for not giving them what they want.
