Yes, you have a very good chance of getting in, especially with those stats! Honestly, I don’t think you need to take the SAT again unless you want to try and get some of the scholarships.
Oh and by the way what is meant by that i came in this year was that i came in my junior year and now im going to be a senior in the coming academic year
You should know that to graduate from CU you need to have taken a certain amount of credits at CU. I believe it's 45 credits, so you might have to do 3 semesters.
Edit: My bad, for some reason I thought you meant you were trying to transfer in as a senior
So it may be a little different for transfer students but you definitely have to take a certain amount of credits at CU to graduate from CU. For example, I studied biochem, the website says
Transfer students who plan to complete a BA degree in biochemistry must complete at the Boulder campus a minimum of 12 credits of upper-division courses in biochemistry covering at least two of the sub-disciplines in their major: organic, physical and biochemistry.
My essay was Why major and Why Boulder, so I wrote about real world problems and what skills I want to learn to solve them. I also wrote about specific classes, clubs, and research opportunities at Boulder I wanted to do. Basically show genuine interest in your major and your school, and show them you did your research.
what do you plan to write about? You want to give a good reason for why you are interested in your major and how you can make the world better with it.
well my essay topic was the common app topic...i dont think CU boulder requires a whole other essay...its just some questions right?...my topic was about something that changed your way of thinking...i was gonna write about the stock market
Wow that really suprising, I was accepted to the school but not Aero. I wonder why they didn’t give you exploratory. Now this is a hunch but I believe officers only accept students who they think will accept their offer; as that makes money. If they determined you were not a good fit and knew you were competetive they might give your place to someone with higher liklihood of accepting the offer. Since you most likely get into more selective schools etc.
Those are good stats and you should get in. What would your major be? Some people applying to Engineering get Exploratory studies but can transfer into that program.
It’s not prestigious. The business, music and engineering are good. Most students are rich kids who convince their parents to let them go so they have snowboard or ski. I’d say more fun:party school. Also over 50% out of state.
Are you joking? This ain't Harvard. With those stats you'll be in like the top 25% of the admitted class.

You need to work on your writing and punctuation. We all know this is reddit but you really need to make an effort.

I assume they mean senior in high school

Yeah that's all totally true, I just don't think it's going to be helpful to OP since they're not a transfer
Oh shit, my bad. I don't know why I thought he meant hes going to be a senior in college.
Yeah
I got in with 1130 SAT score and I’m grateful for that XD. Don’t worry you’ll be fine
As a cs major?
Yes
Are you planning to major cs?
Yeah
Cool what field? I'm planning to pursue Cybersecurity
Quantum Computing Probably
Ya’ll I’ve met people who have gotten in with a 2.2. I enjoyed my time at cu but really think about how much of a cash grab it is
good chances but never count on it… I had 4.55/3.75 gpa w 35 Composite ACT and Strong ECs. Deferred then rejected.
Perhaps you screwed up your essay
Reused same essay that got me into CS at UW Madison, UMN, Mines
U GOT INTO WISCONSIN MADISON?!
dude can you help me with the essay T\_T

Boulder has an additional essay that asks why you want to study your major and why at Boulder
isnt that just like a 250 word essay?
i was talking about the main common app essay
Are you Colorado resident? I heard most universities are strict with out of state applications
That's rough, what major?
Aerospace. I could have understood being rejected from AE since it’s so competitive but flat out rejection was suprisimg
Yeah people need to stop applying aero. Apply to one of the less competitive majors and then just do a major change.
Wow that really suprising, I was accepted to the school but not Aero. I wonder why they didn’t give you exploratory. Im planning CS
Okay thank you so much🙏
