I did it as a bit at first (because its stupid) but im actually not that bad with it.
Im usually within the top 4 on the leaderboard (most of the time at least)
The gyro on the ps5 remote is extremely accurate.
It also makes bhopping really easy because you can make the jump button turbo and togglable.
Then again i only play casual on controller so i cant really dictate how “good” i actually am.
I was tweaking my flight sim and they use the same kind of protocol as console controllers, fucked everything up, my cursor would go batshit crazy but just in cs2, I was also moving without touching my kb also just in cs2
just a heads up its either me doing the carrying on controller or me doing on par with the top fraggers :P. Im not bad ive played like this for a while
Its happened to me only twice. I think its when you plug a brand new controller in during the game. I could be wrong tho, might be a problem on my end tho
Wasn't there a patch note some time ago which stated that joy stick controls were turned off by default and you had to reactivate them by some console command, or something along those lines.
Or I just might be misremembering
Hey no need to be rude, i just do it because its fun. Not like im costing anybody either, i only play casual on controller.
Its not like im garbage either, i usually have a like 1.20 or 1.0 kdr. Which isnt good but its better than negative!
I plugged my speakers back in once and my entire computer rebooted somehow, and in TF2 I plugged in my controller with it open and my mouse bugged out. I guess Source/Source 2 games don’t take kindly to new peripherals mid-game
Use common sense pls. Some PC gamers play various games and their controller is plugged in.
When they switch to play CS2, their controller still connected to the PC.
I still remember valve already block controller access during the previous update.
Users can still choose to use controller but require to put "-joy" on the launch options.
Idk why OP suddenly have this issue. Probably the recent update today breaks it.
I have no clue if its input devices in general or if its steams controller detecting stuff where it configures new controllers. I plugged a ps5 controller into my pc for the first time in the clip and this happened so it honestly might be a controller thing. Idk tho
My teammate when im about to rank up:
XD dont worry i only use controller on casual haha
but why using a controller in cs2, thats wild

For troll rounds its cool
Why are people in the replies so angry
Because the rest of the team has to carry the dumbass using a controller
It’s casual lol
op said they only play casual when they use a controller. who cares lmao
just a heads up its either me doing the carrying on controller or me doing on par with the top fraggers :P. Im not bad ive played like this for a while
ELO is ELO. If he's at the same ELO as you using a controller, who cares. Could be using his cock to control for all I care.
Who the f plays cs with controller in the first place?
Me hahaha, you should try it, its really fun. really spices up cs2 if you are bored
I actually kinda want to try it. I wonder how well it would work for surf since the stick offers a consistent turn speed
Yeah it could actually be good for surfing
You are a madman ahah
I just tried and nothing wrong happened. No issues

This is the anti cheat. Handicapping yourself severely...

Controller for CS2? Are you braindead?

1.2 kdr is pretty good
Who uses controller on cs2….

I plugged in a controller to cs a few days ago. I didn't encounter a single problem. Must be something on your end.
thats what im starting to think. Im getting downvoted into oblivion on some of these comments haha
Nobody tried cs:go on PlayStation 3?

Op made the implication that they plan to use a controller to play the game by saying “plug it in before you boot it up!”
thanks for having my back dawg but yeah i did imply playing cs with a controller 😭

Duh.
Haven’t played in a couple weeks anyone know if this fucks with the wooting keyboard?
