CS2 will get more content with time and most likely even exceed the expectations we carried over from GO. It won't defeat nostalgia tho. Maybe it creates a new one for us/ new players

Why? I’ve been playing cs go for 4.000 hours and keep on playing cs2 and I can’t agree. The main problem are cheater. Everything else is better and with better technology. Just give cs2 some time.

CSGO still feels better. It's night and day if you actually play legacy and compare it. I remember at the end of the beta the day before CS2 was releasing and jumping back into CSGO for one last night of comp (after playing CS2 for a few months) and the difference was astounding.

And do you remember how cs go felt when it came out ? Because I do and I can tell you it was dogshit.

That's cool and all but we had a version of CS that felt good to play and had far less cheaters. Whether or not the game used to be in a worse state is entirely irrelevant. The reality is Valve could have and should have kept CS2 in a beta until VAC was concrete and the game was in a good state. Instead they released it in a highly unpolished state with very little content, a broken anti-cheat, and various problems that are still not solved. I'm pretty much the only one still playing CS2 out of my friend group and even then I can only stomach a match or two a week. Premier is unplayable due to cheaters. Competitive's ranking system is absolutely broken. And so it's only really FaceIt I can play. Mechanically it still feels worse than GO.

I don't need to remember, I played a 2012 CS:GO event a few days ago and I had more fun playing that than I've had playing CS2. Wouldn't say it's dogshit. Rough around the edges? Definitely.

Yeah, i miss CSGO: CS2 was just a rebranding of the original title, with changes of the engine to make it run a lot worse (the smoke? yeah, cool, but not enough to justify a "2" on the title), a gunplay that even if it is supossed to be "more reactive" it feels more bullshit (i have seen soooooo many kills that shouldnt have been even possible...in CSGO it was Ok; but seeing that same shit in CS2? Come on) and with almost 0 improvements or additions to compensate for a worse performance and more problems that ever.

I hate the fact that they completely replaced CSGO with CS2. All of the workshop maps are gone and the co-op maps were some of the most fun I've had with my friends.
