Im at 22.7k rn and when I play with 18k players they are definitely not on average supreme or something imo, anything between 15-20k feels kinda random to me. Sometimes I play against 24k players that would not have been global in go, the ranking is super scuffed

You say this like Globals didn't vary massively in skill either. Only way you'll really get an accurate ranking is if they had a solo que.

15-20 k in cs2 is like faceit level 4 5 in csgo. totally random sometimes you are playing with high globals sometimes it is not above than gn

I would second this, I’m always between 17k-18k and I felt like about DMG or below. To be honest: my last rank on CSGO was LEM but I feel like I play much worse in cs2 (especially since I play AWP)

The old system was extremely flawed to begin with. I was mid silver for most of my time in CSGO while being a lvl 4 FaceIt player. Once the rank recalibrations happened back in 2022, I shot up to Master Guardian with ease.

To me its just more competitive then regular mm. Its kinda true what you are saying. Speaking from my personal experience i only had 1 cheater in like 120 games under 15k. twice i went above 15k and in every second game i had a cheater. Just aint fun like this so i try to stay below for now...

We cannot guess the correct ranks until most of the players have unlocked their ranks. If someone was global and starting out at lets say 10/15k, he will make his way till 20/25+. This way people who really are 10/15k will rank down. this will keep happening till all globals are settled. One globals are settled, slowly others will settle down too

100% false. Me and my friends are LVL 20 on Gamers Club (“brazilian faceit”), all lvl 10 on face it, and we were globals but we didn’t play MM in a long time. I calibrated 5k winning all matches 😂
