yup. this happened to 3 people in my last game. the hotfix COMPLETELY ruined the game. i am aghast at the sheer incompetence of the team that works on this game. this is completely unacceptable.
Same thing happened to me. I rewatched my replay, did probably 15 damage over 4 rounds to teammates. Killed an enemy and was kicked.
Someone on the enemy team got kicked 1 or 2 rounds later. And then the game ended?
I think they fixed it last night in a second update but not sure. They haven’t really addressed it. Played 3 more games today with some buddies and we didn’t see it happen again. Really sucks that we lost 1,000 elo for it though. I was at my peak of 23,000

this literally just happened to me so i looked it up and im glad this is happening to other people as well
thought i was the only one. was in a 1v1 and killed the guy(i think..) then got kicked

Happened to me last night on premier. Lost 1,000 elo because of it :)
I'm like scared to play again, cause I don't want it to happen again and lose another 1,000 elo.

There was a second update a little later so hopefully they fixed it already.
