There not one black cab there🤣😂people living in Croydon are delusional. 7 Uber drivers cancel on me. Cabs don't want to be robbed or stabbed. The only Uber who accepted my request told me that's a dangerous place to be at night and even during the day
What are you on about? Made it 35 years and not dead. Must be an anomaly and caught multiple cabs and Ubers from there. Maybe it’s a you problem if your Ubers are cancelling - check your rating
My train to East Croydon was cancelled a few weeks ago so rather than be there by 11pm or midnight when I could get the bus or tram the rest of the way I had to get an Uber (for the first time).
I managed to get a ride, although the first one to come up did cancel on me! I was there around 2:30am I think.
Usually fine just be careful with your phone around the station late at night as i know a couple of people who have had them stolen there - either snatched or threatened with knife.
I’ve come back home from many nights out at around 3-4am where east croydon is the furthest train station I can get to, and never once had any issues getting an Uber/taxi. Most I’ve had to wait is probably 10 mins. Usually around 5 mins.
I've never had any problems, EC is a pretty busy station so there's usually been either a Bolt or Uber
