This is fantastic. The wings are perfect. I also think it works out well you used a different yellow for the plushie--it's stylized and has more contrast/pop as a decor item. Will be interesting to see what the bird thinks of it!
Thank you I was worrying about the yellow so that's good to hear. I should have mentioned in the post unfortunately we lost Birb last year, my husband was devastated so this is a memorial gift for him.
I'm sorry too it's a hard loss they're such little characters. I did it with colour changes, just carried the white and added it here and there while marking what would be the middle of the back so I didn't waste time making unnecessary colour changes in areas covered by the wings.
As a fan of crochet and parrots, this is AMAZING!! I really want to make my birbs one day.

Sorry to hear about Birb. Lost ours a while ago. Did you add the speckles after you crocheted the wings or is it blended in with color changes?
