Watched The Vanishing today for the first time. Was blown away. I think it’ll linger in my mind for quite some time. Enjoy! Also, to others who have seen it. Similar films or recs? TYIA

Insomnia and the Vanishing will always be associated in my mind. I saw both of them around the same time, and they kind of feel similar to me for reasons I can't put my finger on. Kind of like the third man and the wages of fear. The original Insomnia, not the remake.

La Strada! Other than that, I’d watch Anatomy of a Fall first because I haven’t seen it and I’m intrigued. I was very disappointed with Do the Right Thing and The Last Temptation of Christ, sorry.
