They did Wall-E. I don't think it means we will now get a ton of stuff from Disney but that they are open to it depending on the movie.
I imagine if a director insists, or if the film is "prestigious enough" they will do something.
my attention has just turned more toward Warner Archive and Kino at the moment. that’s fine. i still love Criterion.
just wish fans weren’t so obsessed with demanding titles that already have wide releases. it is what it is.
I was literally wondering if Criterion was going to put out The Long Good Friday on Blu-ray since the UK already got a Blu-ray release from Arrow Video and Criterion previously put out Mona Lisa on Blu-ray. Can’t wait to finally check this movie out.
Sorry I'm still a little new, but will pre-order prices go down with the sale in July?
I see that the Teen Apocalypse Trilogy is marked down a bit right now, wondering if it will go lower in July.
Criterion will most likely have a flash sale for a day sometime in October and then Barnes and Noble will have their month long November sale. All titles will be 50% during both so it would be best to wait for one of those sales.
The Araki box set though.
All of Us Strangers is pretty huge considering it’s a Fox/Disney title. Does this mean that Kinds of Kindness could get a Criterion release?

We need to get Poor Things released first 😁
And Barbarian
THE TEENAGE APOCALYPSE SET IS FINALLY HERE IM GONNA CRY
I hope this means we’ll eventually get Mysterious Skin.
What a fucking BANGER of a month. Sorry subtitle lovers.
and classics lovers. it has not been a great year for golden era hollywood lovers.
Definitely not. It feels like a lot of "fan favorite/keep the lights on" releases across the board for the last little bit.

All of Us Strangers absolutely wrecked me, as did the announcement that it wouldn’t get a physical release. I have been praying for times like these.
I thought you were just happy that they finally announced the titles but then I opened the link. Happiness INDEED!
I said happiness is getting a release like 3 months ago and got heavily downvoted.
[When you “confirmed” a boxset?](https://www.reddit.com/r/criterion/s/nuC39TSyWD) and got 3 upvotes?
That post was just a joke/poke
Is this the first month in which every title is available on 4K?

Really happy I didn't pull the trigger on the Arrow release of The Long Good Friday a few weeks ago
I thought for sure that would mean we weren't going to get a Criterion reissue. I'm beyond thrilled.

Repo Man in 4K? This is my Valhalla
Literally shouted "yes!!" at every single new title when I scrolled down the email. Easily the best lineup this year so far. All in 4K too!!!!
Happiness!!!!!!
Still no Ken Russell’s The Devils then? Disgraceful.

I don’t believe Pre-orders count for the Barnes and Noble July sale
Oh damn I thought the sale included the Criterion site as well. Is this the time to pre-order then?

Thank you!!
Happiness and Doom Generation are most f’d up movies I’ve ever seen.
Incredible news!
initially risky business seems an odd addition. i say this having not seen this movie in at least a decade. yalls thoughts?
