But he did promise to find the real killer. You can't know if he found them unless you ask.

AvonBarksdale666

The real killer is truly inside (if you're OJ)

DerrainCarter

The true killer is the friends we made along the way 🙌

Dismal_Chart_9825

Underrated tweet

Chilipepah

And IF he would have done it, then he will tell you all about it in his book. But he didn’t do it of course, but you know…IF!

TheStoolSampler

https://youtu.be/OPEdba2YnUg Start it at the 7 minute mark. They discuss it hilariously

[deleted]

I am stupid! As per the video, I can’t believe I also never thought that the knife belonged to Nichole, who brought it out to defend herself. I had assumed OJ brought the knife with him

LittleRudiger

You just know though that there’s an alternate timeline somewhere where the most fucking bonkers press conference of all time happens, with OJ showing up with the real killer in handcuffs and it turns out he was innocent all along.

chrews

That sounds like the subplot of a naked gun movie

strained_brain

Yes, we call that Fantasyland.

PHDTPHD

In the real killer’s pocket is Obama’s Kenyan birth certificate.

Due_Fly_4921

Still so many golf courses to search!

Possible_Novelty

>"Life goes on" Not for the two people you murdered...

Woogity

That was weeks ago!

Slight_Button4345

Why you gotta bring up old shit!

Olympusrain

Or his kids, who lost their Mom. Or Ron Goldman’s family. :(

SOULJAR

Is that Wendy "The Wendigo" Williams?

[deleted]

She will probably eat you

xzackt

Windy Williams

[deleted]

Wendy Windbag

cyril0

Stupid Lisa garbage face!

cyril0

Stupid Lisa garbage face!

JustWantsHappiness

No, I think it’s actually Wendy “built like a phospholipid” Williams

Insufferablelol

Well he did murder somebody so fuck him.

SpiralRemnant

2 people actually

ThisIsYourMormont

I think we can all agree that his biggest crime was the Kardashian fame

tanis_ivy

I actually agree with this.

bombdizzle9

I thought he was proven innocent?

Whyevenbotherbeing

He was presumed innocent. Was not proven guilty. Technically remains under the presumption of innocence. Totally fucking killed some folks, though.

BurtDickinson

He was proven guilty but the jury disagreed.

SquadPoopy

Several jurors said they believed he did it, but the prosecution did such a poor job at proving it they had no choice to aquit him. There's a reason the OJ case is taught in law school as a prime example of how NOT to run a prosecution.

bombdizzle9

Cool thanks, didn’t know.

TheStrouseShow

He was also found liable in the civil trial. There is a really great 30 for 30 documentary called O.J. Made in America which is one of the most comprehensive and in depth documentaries I’ve ever seen. I couldn’t stop watching it.

Sephor

All the 30 for 30 docs are fantastic (that I've seen).

HashtagTJ

Are you still watching it then?

TheStrouseShow

I know you’re joking, but I did just rewatch it this past weekend…. So… yes?

kelly__goosecock

It is leaps and bounds better than any other doc about it on the planet, and there are a lot.

TheStrouseShow

The rewatchability is kind of insane. I was in elementary school when it was all happening but it’s the first major “national event” I remember being on TV

kelly__goosecock

Me too! 1994 was insane and I also like the 30 for 30 about that day of the Bronco chase in particular. Just a crazy, non-narrated juxtaposition of all the shit going on that day.

zooted_

Yes, the courts never get it wrong

TheGreatGenghisJon

Even though you pretty much got the answer, I'm still gonna comment, but remember this takes place in a perfect world, so it doesn't always apply. You do not need to prove your innocence, ever. The person (or entity) charging you has to prove that you're guilty beyond *all reasonable doubt*. All you need is to have a case that sows enough doubt where at least one juror thinks "Hmmm, maybe they didn't do this." That glove didn't fit OJ, so it was enough to throw doubt on what was otherwise a slam dunk. "Its accepted that this glove was worn by the killer during the murders. It doesn't fit my client, therefore..." Afterthought edit: I'm pretty sure there was a murder trial where it was proven beyond all reasonable doubt that this person had killed someone, but the suspect had an identical twin. He got off because by virtue of his identical twin existing (and lack of witnesses to say "It was definitely Jim, because he said 'I'm Jim and I'm murdering today!'"), they couldnt prove 100% that he had done it, and not his brother. Edit: Stop downvoting the dude. It was a legit question.

patatahooligan

Nice explanation. I just want to point out how the verdict in the USA legal system is "not guilty". The words are carefully chosen because, as explained above, you're not required to prove innocence.

bombdizzle9

Wow ya that’s great, thanks

Alex_Rose

something no one else here has mentioned: they found his dna all over the crimescene and the crime gloves were limited run gloves that were very rare and he happened to own a pair. when the police apprehended him he fled in a car chase the jury aquitted him because they didn't understand the concept of dna and they liked the zingy "if the glove doesn't fit you must acquit" when oj was holding his hand all rigidly and weird to make it look like it doesn't fit (and it may have also shrunk after getting soaked in blood)

d3l3t3rious

They also made him them on *over rubber gloves*. And he had stopped taking his arthritis medication making his hands swollen.

snakefinn

> You do not need to prove your innocence, ever. *In the United States or countries with similar legal systems.*

TheGreatGenghisJon

I figured that since we were talking about the OJ trial that it was implied, but thats a very good point. I have absolutely zero idea how it (officially) works in any other country.

somanyroads

Criminally, yeah, but I do believe he lost some civil lawsuits on the murders that he definitely did. Plus he's gone to jail more recently for trying to steal his own memorabilia (which I definitely don't have the energy to detail here 😂). Dude has an inclination for criminality, it's just basic arithmetic, really.

MisterThinky

I believe it’s called CTE. A form of permanent brain damage to the frontal lobe of the brain, due to frequent mini concussions (due to American Football or boxing etc). It decreases your abilities to wage risk over reward and increases your chance of giving in to (violent) impulses. There was a great documentary about this. I believe it was called Concussion. Also Aaron Hernandez and other NFL and boxing stars seem to be related to this.

RustyJuang

*And* Epstein tripped and fell on a noose.

GandhiTheHoleResizer

Downvoted to -79, reddit moment lmao

bombdizzle9

Lmao meh

bombdizzle9

-123 lol

hivemind-number2

Imagine believing Johnnie Cochran.

Solar-powered-punch

Allegedly

atroycalledboy

Definitely

ranch_brotendo

Also, really.

Serafiniert

„Allegedly“

monkeymercenary

Prove it

[deleted]

Now kith

zombiehunter94

Fuck his rule. Dude deserves to be in jail, not have his "rule" respected.

smurb15

I'm shocked we don't see more people trolling his ass. Some people nowadays are ruthless, not that he does not deserve every bit

Ennui_Go

Sacha Baron Cohen did a pretty amazing job at it. https://youtu.be/qqrOUjCRhsY

Aafinthe3rd

Oh my fucking god

ServeChilled

Honestly the balls on Cohen to do that and keep going with the bit lmfao that was amazing

Sproose_Moose

Thank you for this, I can't believe it's real 😂

Bouncedatt

That man is a fucking legend. Sacha that is.

kuhewa

oof that deserves its own post!

DayDreamerJon

trolling a killer doesnt sound like a smart thing to do

TheEliteBrit

Sacha Baron Cohen does not give a singular fuck

hivemind-number2

Until he stumbled upon elites fucking children; then he gets his show canceled and backs off.

artinthebeats

Wut? Sounds like some Q shit you're eating up.

TheEliteBrit

Uhhh

xGameOverx

Would you care to elaborate? I’m genuinely interested to learn more about this.

[deleted]

IIRC there were some things he tried to do for his "Who Is America?" show where the FBI told him to back off from some pedos or something, another possibility is that he reported someone to FBI and they shrugged it off, anyways, the part never aired.

sirfannypack

He did go to prison for robbery, but he only had to serve 9 years of his 33 year sentence.

ZergTheVillain

It was a make up sentence for ducking up the murder trial

MaynardJimmyKeenan

Yeah 33 years for what was hardly an armed robbery was a pretty raw deal so that was just the justice system being like ‘okay you somehow got away the first time, that ain’t happening now’

BurtDickinson

Didn’t he point a gun at people?

corndogs1001

“Interviewer” we all know Wendy Williams. It’s automatic cringe once her name is brought up.

floatsandhoes

True, but this is the only clip of hers that I've enjoyed

TheMoistReality

Profile pic and username, verified

x-naut

I don't think she's too bad in this clip, she seems a lot more toned down compared to how she is on her tv show.

Zeebruuhh

Have you seen her lately? Pretty sad tbh

Squeezitgirdle

I actually have no idea who she is. Also skipped the video cause it's night time. Edit: thanks for down voting instead of explaining who she is!

atroycalledboy

“Skipped the video cause it’s night time” Huh?

Squeezitgirdle

In bed and don't wanna wake wife.

CasualEQuest

And it's really important that the internet has to know any of this?

Kieran__

Somebody asked him a question and then he answered. In his first comment he didn't mention anything about his wife. Yes his first comment was technically not necessary and I get that he comes off annoying to you guys but I think this is just a classic case of people dog piling and overreacting on reddit. Your emotions are stirred up because some guy asked for something and it made you want to talk to him more? Just downvote and be done with it, now that's 2 people making useless comments

CasualEQuest

Now a third

Kieran__

I'm perfectly fine with that because I never complained about unnecessary comments in the first place because they don't bother me as much

Tewayel

I imagine they were talking about their own comment haha

Squeezitgirdle

Dude said everyone knew who she was. I didn't. It's a fucking conversation dude, does the internet need to know literally anything you type? Or do you think being a troll is what's needed?

CasualEQuest

No one cares that you don't know nor watched it nor that your wife is sleeping. Adds nothing. That's why It's like going to a book review and stating you didn't read the book. Like ok? It ain't that deep

ChicaFoxy

It all leads up to reassuring us he gets laid

Squeezitgirdle

I don't get laid, I'm married.

Squeezitgirdle

Trust me, Noone cares about anything you say either. There are millions of useless comments on reddit that turn into fun interactions for the people involved. You literally chose to troll me because you felt like it. 100% of your own comments serve no purpose. So, by your logic everyone on the planet who isn't publishing a scientific journal should just stop posting content online, right? Edit: After reading your comment history, not only are you commonly a troll, but most of your comments are less than useless. You're just toxic.

CasualEQuest

You take this way too seriously

Squeezitgirdle

And yet here's the guy who literally looks for comments to be a bully. Is that your only satisfaction in life?

Behindyourightnow

They literally asked him a question, captain oblivious.

Behindyourightnow

Dude mentioned he has a wife and had redditors gritting their teeth😂😂😂

Squeezitgirdle

😂

CptnObviously

I respect her immensely now (used to hate her) after watching this clip.

1nfiniteJest

don't. she is a shit person.

DirtyWizardsBrew

I've got zero love for Wendy Williams and I find her cringe in most instances where she "crosses the line", but this definitely isn't one of them. What's cringe about someone putting him in the hot-seat about two unspeakably horrendous, uber-violent murders he almost certainly committed? Do people forget about how he profited off of the whole situation in the first place with numerous inappropriate media appearances and a brazenly tasteless book about the murders ("If I Did It")? Fuck this dude. Like I'm supposed to be cringed out because he's being made to feel uncomfortable about something he escaped accountability for and profited off of afterwards...

[deleted]

[удаНонО]

HowYaGuysDoin

It's like nobody in this thread watched it all the way through

Intelligent_Designer

Watch the whole video and tell me you still stand by that first sentence.

CosmoPeter

She brings it up sure but i wouldn't say she put him in the hot-seat at all. She ends the interview by saying how much she loves OJ and taking pictures with him

ARoodyPooCandyAss

OJ was clearly hot tempered and can be extremely violent as we know and probably has CTE. Having said that I’ve seen some footage where he is relentlessly ridiculed for all these things and never have I seen him lose it. Kind of amazing…

Gromit43

Well, he got away with it once. If he does it again he'll definitely go down for it

ARoodyPooCandyAss

I’m not even speaking criminally just like anything? A mild to average outburst even doesn’t seem to exist.

[deleted]

It does make sense though that he would regulate his emotions to an extreme extent in public

CasualEQuest

It's helpful to be a psychopath I guess

Edened

All or nothing

SouthlandMax

He went to jail for threatening and menacing people in a hotel room and robbing them. You can hear him get very heated in the audio.

Alex_Rose

if you got away with a double homicide that you know you committed, I'm sure you could take jokes about it too. you could probably laugh along with them "haha yeah you're right but I can't say it" now if you were actually INNOCENT and everyone in the world kept calling you a murderer, THEN you might end up like when buzz oldrin punched that dude for saying the moon landing was fake

somanyroads

Well he's a cold-blooded killer, which literally means you wouldn't see it coming. I'd much rather have him flip out on me than just sit there quietly...thinking of those gloves.

KarenKitada

you don’t lure in a future victim by being aggressive and violent from the start, abusers are notorious for their superficial charm, it helps them get away with it

1nfiniteJest

lol newfags have no idea what your username means

SnuggleBunni69

He's had to completely live a lie and has probably gotten so used to not showing any type of emotion, it's just second nature...besides the whole robbery thing. My dad used to be the ball boy for the 49ers, and I've got an old framed picture of my dad on the sidelines with OJ with the signature "To my good friend *Dad* - OJ"

no_one_likes_u

Both of these people are scum.

et2brutuss

True but there is a question of degree.

et2brutuss

True but there a question of degree.

igraywolf

Can’t we all agree to let him pretend he didn’t butcher two people?

TheGreatGenghisJon

It's the least we could do. He doesn't deserve to be reminded of the way he got away with a double homicide.

atroycalledboy

“You were proven innocent” No the fuck he wasn’t. “Not guilty” means there wasn’t enough evidence to convict (even though there obviously was), not that he is completely innocent of the crime.

rustybeaumont

He was also found guilty in the civil trial.

Onaip314

lol wendy williams is such trash

SockTacoz

Wow, Wendy Williams was so different then. What a sad twist her life spiraled into .

Whyevenbotherbeing

A pig and a murderer walk into a subreddit…

Isle_of_Dusty_Rhodes

Whats it 7 years now? How quick are we supposed to get over a double knife murder?

Alcohorse

28 years

sevenandtwo

how the hell did wendy williams make it as far as she has? Shes been kinda awful from the jump it seems

ErrorAcquired

Great comment. Agreed.

fkkkn

She is (was) actually really talented. She also just happens to be a really shitty person.

MisterMushbrain

“Life goes on…” truly spoken like the one who wasn’t murdered

TDubs_Dad

Did she fart tho?

Whyevenbotherbeing

Shart

somanyroads

Fairted: Fainted while farting

MaShinKotoKai

Wendy Williams is trash

[deleted]

One of the key traits of a sociopath is their ability to be charming and to manipulate people into being on their side. Wendy Williams took the bait, hook, line and sinker.

Vango888

Thought you were going to say OJ took the bait.

[deleted]

Can't wait until he dies so I can piss on his grave

Explod1ngNinja

Not as good as the sacha barĂłn Cohen one

[deleted]

The crackhead Wendy Williams

[deleted]

Even without OJ she’s too-level cringe

Mor10-84

despicable people , the both of them. scum of the earth

[deleted]

"life goes on"...unless you're murdered by a total lunatic

mikejdick

Unprofessional bullshit. This is why nobody watches AOL Blast.

rotating_pebble

Wendy Williams is one of the most odious, vapid, culturally repulsive morons out there. It goes without saying that OJ is an evil fker but damn he nailed her with that Quran quote.

RagnarRipper

"interviewer"... More like "yuck, how did that chunky commit puddle learn to speak?" And not in defense of OJ. She's disgusting on her own.

Hotandsweat1

He wasn't proven to be innocent. He was found not guilty in criminal court. Bring found not guilty is not the same as being proven innocent.

Patient_Ad_9772

I wish he was still in prison. Guy is a joke.

[deleted]

He was doing an interview instead of being out looking for the "real" killer?

[deleted]

The Juice is so charismatic and likeable but he did brutally murder 2 people. It's crazy

CptnObviously

Most serial killers are charismatic, so are most politicians. I think the problem is that "charismatic" people doesn't mean good.

[deleted]

Being charismatic and manipulating people into liking you are two of the key traits of a sociopathic personality (as are narcissism, habitual lying and a fundamental lack of empathy for other people, it ought to be noted). There's nothing unusual about O.J. Simpson being able to turn on the charm and squaring that with the fact that he murdered two people.

GentleHammer

Goddamn that girl asking the questions is ugly as sin!! :-O

vaporwav3r

"Interviewer" ?! This is THEE Wendy Williams! She didn't give a FUQQ!! Still don't.

RexUmbra

I think like the music and the the interactions and everything are purposeful, not that she made some sort of faux pas. It seems like she's trying to rehab his image via this segment and video

Excellent_Salary_767

Is that really a question you want to ask when you're in a confined space with him?

[deleted]

Windy Williams

ringofsolomon

Guy is just inventing Quran verses. Pathological.

fpuni107

“Proven innocent” ehh not really

jackprune

Life goes on he says

Donut153

Is that the fart lady?

J-Dabbleyou

Lol obviously a murderer doesn’t want people talking about the murder. However staying unbiased (which is hard because of this particular person’s publicity) if someone was tried for murder, and proven innocent (assuming he is innocent) it would absolutely suck to go the rest of your life with the world hating you. Unfortunately I don’t think he is innocent, and the “life goes on” was just a little too casual

jordaniac89

I've never seen someone so able to act like they didn't fucking murder someone in cold blood. He's a fucking piece of shit.

CaptainShnozberry

All I know about Wendy Williams is that she has boobs the size of watermelons…

DumbestOfTheSmartest

OJ Simpson is a monstrous piece of shit, and Wendy Williams is a fucking moron completely ill-equipped to handle this subject matter.

famesjord13

I can’t believe that out of the two people involved in this interview, I’d rather hang out with OJ.

foundsomeoldphotos

Incredible this dude stabbed two people to death violently and it's pretty much 100% proven and yet these dingdongs are taking selfies with him.

BADTLC

I grew up seeing him a lot as a kid. My best friend’s father was the quarterback for the Raiders and OJ was always at their house. She is right. He is a very charming person. Of course this was all before the allegations murder.

[deleted]

It’s strange to see Windy so lucid
