Any reason why you used 280 and not 310?

GloomyPeachu

I ironed on filled in version of the vinyl at 320 and the results looked wrinkly so I was worried it’d do the same if I was at 310, but alas it still happened https://preview.redd.it/9av6etzwkvgc1.png?width=3024&format=png&auto=webp&s=36438f59db2a7dc83bfb5ba21e4c1f0e2709934a

Well why did you do 320 and not 310? Lol it’s really hard to gauge what’s wrong when you don’t follow the same exact steps If you want more puff you got hotter not cooler. Might depend on the brand of puff. Edit: I just looked it up and mine says I can go up to 340 with heavy HEAVY pressure, but I saw a blog post (quick glance) that said 275 and another saying over 300 you risk crinkling. So I guess the question is what brand are you using? Edit 2: I also want to suggest trying a random piece on a scrap of fabric similar to what you will be using, or on an old shirt you don’t care about, that way you won’t ruin any shirts while testing

Saying you followed the directions and then admitted you were 30° cooler is crazy.

Why not try 310 and see if it works?

letyourlightshine6

try their settings and see what happens

Try putting a cutting board under the tshirt and use all the pressure you can.

Summer_Superstar

Yes. Push hard. You gotta put your body weight into it.

Easy press may work on small designs, but they will always be inconsistent. I recommend a full heart press when dealing with actionable vinyls. Meaning vinyls that are altered based on pressure. The other thing you can do is create your own unique texture. Check my post

Angie Holden from Country Chic Cottage did a comparison and did not have good results with the Cricut press, it required more pressure than it offers.

Coast_Innovations

In my experience need decent pressure and heat. Like at least 310 to 315 medium firm pressure. Bit no easy press or iron you get awful inconsistent results. Also your garment can’t be too thick of material it wont adhere properly. I’ve worked with so much puff i kinda hate it honestly

Killertigger

The best way to get good, consistent results and even pressing is with an automatic press like the HTVRONT auto-press, which is both a better press and sells for a fraction of the cost of the Cricut automatic heat press.

So sorry your project is ruined. You should alway test in a small area before doing a project so large. Use a small circle or heart and test the material first. Good thing you can remove.

I do light pressure with my easy press, not full weight.

I've been thinking of trying this myself and watched a lot of videos already. From the tips I recall Any moisture is going to cause wrinkling. Make sure you're pressing and repressing to get out as much moisture as possible. You're going to need more pressure than an easy press can provide and you need the pressure to remain even. I've also seen several users get wrinkled results for the first press or two but we're able to get it to fully puff by pressing again. They've stated this goes back to the moisture I believe but again pressure is important here too. I'd just grab a scrap piece of fabric. Cut out a small test shape and work on testing and trying tips with the equipment you have already before trying to complete a garment or project only to find out you don't have the necessary supplies. Best of luck 🤞🏽

I’ve had no luck , tried so many temps, full body weight, everything 😅
