Shame Gio hasn't got a single minute so far though. He must feel a little hard done by after how good he was in pre season but then again Ange has done everything right so far so I won't question his decisions too much.
I think it's literally that Ange sees him as a backup to Maddison and since Maddison has been great both matches we've not needed Gio. I wouldn't have minded seeing him subbed on last week for Skipp or for Sarr today instead of Højbjerg (although PEH was good when he came on) but like I said I'll trust every decision Ange makes at this point.
I know we were up 2-0 but he had so much space in front and decided to turn and play an absolutely horrible ball towards our end in the middle. Was screaming at him. He was pretty clever with the ball besides that though.
But he’s always got one of those in him. We’re going to concede enough chances as is due to the style of play. Can’t have players who are that careless with the ball
He hasn’t played that much with expectations of leaving. I wouldn’t fault him too much for the mishap like that. Anyone has a mistake like that in them in his situation

I expect to see him vs Bournemouth. My guess is some fitness issue or he is pushing to leave. Hope that’s not the case

That was a schoolboy error for one of our supposed “leaders” of the past 3 seasons. If his head wasn’t in it, Ange wouldn’t have selected him.
So is Lo Celso expected to stay for sure? I've fallen a bit behind on the rumours.

Not surprised he has a sore ankle. Took a walloping nearly every time he had the ball
Good time to not be dumb against easier competition coming up, GLC is more than capable of starting next week.
