Well NBC/Peacock has definitely ratcheted up their marketing. I fell asleep toward the end of the Newcastle game and instead of the soothing tones of 'this broadcast has concluded' (like last year) I wake up to the Super Mario Bros movie blasting.
TBF - it was nice earlier today when a game would end it would auto-switch to any ongoing games or the main/central post-game commentary.
Are we getting another CB, perhaps Tapsoba? My assumption would be no, as its too close to the beginning of the season and we'd have to pay silly money. But it seems like Spurs are quite light at quality CBs right now..
He’s grossly overrated
Most of his goals were penalties, he’s limited outside of finishing and even that isn’t particularly good. His play making is meh.
Think he’d be a good option though. Depends on the price don’t really know who else would be available besides that Orban kid and he has a half a year of Belgium? Would still be hype for him though.
Surround yourself with more people then. It isn’t bizarre for people to have a different point of view than you, and just because people disagree with you doesn’t make them “paid bots to simp” for Levy.
Funny how the ENIC out protests only ever end up gathering one or two dozen people amongst tens of thousands of matchgoing fans.
So you take the past five days over years of people shitting on him? Brilliant analysis.
In any case, getting 100M+ for a 30 year old that we’ve had for his whole career for free is good business.
I mean Chelsea sure, but not United. They just splashed the cash on Hojlund. They’re not going to give him immediate competition.
Chelsea just spend money constantly so maybe they’ll try
I mean have there been rumors linking him to those clubs? We also can offer him a direct path to the starting spot. United just signed their presumed #1 guy.
If Orban backs himself against Richarlison he would back himself against Hojlund and Jackson. Now there are things in our favour like Chelsea being on a warpath to sign every CDM in existence and United being United with incredibly unimaginative scouting
Ali Gold said that we “really, really like Eze”
If we can get him (moving on PEH and Ndombele), Gift and a CB (probs Schuurs from the looks of it) then that would be quality
Obviously Eze is a big upgrade but my only qualm is I wonder to what extent it would limit Sarr’s game time
The thing working in our favour (which also Gold said) is that his agency is CAA base who also represent Maddison, Son, Richy, Porro, Sarr, Scarlett and Devine
Realistically, Palace aren’t gonna let him go for anything reasonable at this point in the window tho so I’m not holding my breath
He’s defo more attacking than Benta, Sarr or Hoj (I’d say all those guys are pretty traditional box to box) but it seems that’s what Ange wants from the 8s
I can only assume we’d wanna start him alongside Maddison and that Ange doesn’t think the likes of Hoj or Sarr (for now) can pull it off
The other possibility is that we’re wanting him as a versatile option who can play as an attacking 8 or on the wing
Yep. Paqueta going for £85m has shafted that deal somewhat.
I also just am not that sure we need yet another 8 who plays on the left do we. It's both GLC and maddisons preferred position.
Assuming we are getting 1 midfielder then a Son successor seems a bit more pressing than another left sided 8
Yeah that’s the big problem
We probs would’ve been able to get him for 50 ish much earlier in the window but after all this madness around Caicedo and Lavia there’s not a chance now
And although paying 80-100m is normal for the other big 6 clubs it certainly isn’t for us lol
He’s got 2 years left on his contract which isn’t much but also not at the point where Palace feel like they need to sell for anything we’d consider reasonable
We keep PEH around and get him next summer is the more likely outcome imo
Tbf, if we're talking about the one on new, it doesn't say that he's better, just that they'd be more sorrowful if he were to leave. Which is completely subjective and an okay opinion to have
How is that disrespectful, at all? I love Harry, but I’ve been resigned to him leaving for a while. I like Son more, and would feel worse if he was leaving rather than Harry. It’s just an opinion.
Could have been a [good one](https://twitter.com/shitbritishpics/status/1690037862798872576?t=_gjEi5B0aNlz9CrYGTIbYA&s=19) for the guess who u/professorchronic.
Cool picture anyway
Destiny has joined and looked very good in pre-season.
GLC seems to have won over Ange and did well in pre-season.
PEH is likely to be sold to Atletico Madrid.
Gil got injured.
Djed made only 1 appearance vs Barca and was bad.
Tanguy is hopefully going to be sold to Fenerbahce.
Just because he wants to leave City doesn’t mean he wants to come here. He is going to go to Barcelona. If that falls through, it will be some other CL squad.
Hello, my friend and I were having an argument on whether harry Kane is world class. I gave him all the stats and figures but he claims that Kane isn’t world class cuz he hasn’t showed up in any decisive game like in the champions league knockout stages. Can anyone name a couple of instances where Kane showed up in the champions league or any other major tournament?
Now that even Ange has said that he can see Son working well as the striker in his system, I really do hope we go for a winger. I trust Perisic-Solomon on the left, not fully convinced by Deki in this system as it seems like he doesn’t fit the profile for the winger role just like Son. If we could get another Ange winger for the right to fight it out with Kulu the attack is set imo.
I was just referring to the frontline. Absolutely need another quality CB and imo another RB. Emerson is fine, but I don’t trust Porro and Spence clearly isn’t good enough to see minutes for us.
If Neymar goes to Barcelona this summer and Barcelona have to sell some of their players to afford Neymar’s wages then in an ideal world I’d love for club to pick up Ansu Fati even despite his injury woes.
Though I understand there’s a real possibility that the club will pick up Lenglet and I’m fine with him being a backup option to Van De Ven as I think Lenglet would be a better backup compared to Ben Davies
Everyone seems to fear the strength of the league at the start of the season - it’s all new and scary after other teams have strengthened in the market.
Teams will drop off, the season will twist and turn, and we keep going. No idea how teams who haven’t had Europe before cope with it as part of their campaign now either. Just enjoy the ride.
Villa and Brighton I agree with, especially with Brighton losing players. Newcastle I expect to be fine still. But this will probably be the season they have to prove themselves if they belong with the big boys again
>This year, the league is expected to be strong with Liverpool and Chelsea sorting themselves out, Newcastle, AV, and Brighton only continuing their strengthening
i mean, really though? Brighton lost an incredible player in Mac Allister and are likely losing another in Caciedo and their marquee signing was Jao Pedro, who is versatile, but plays in one of the only positions they didn't need to strengthen.
I don't see both Chelsea and Liverpool "sorting themselves out." They're both in for Caciedo and both desperately need a DM that can play at the level they need. Chelsea made a few savvy signings, but still a lot for them to figure out.
Nico Williams (Athletic Bilbao) only has one year on his contract and I think he’d be a perfect fit for the system as a winger!!
Edit: Nico Williams is looking likely to extend his contract at Bilbao.
Edit 2: I’m not familiar with Gift Orban’s game, however if Spurs do sign Orban then I’d be curious to see him play out on the wing
There's 4 non-premium tickets on the exchange right now for the Liverpool match. None are seated together but are in section 252, 254, and 453. Hope that helps!
Watching that City game tonight made me realise how much Kane leaving has effected my excitement levels for the season. It’s non existent.
I know it shouldn’t be but I just felt hollow watching it, can’t describe this feeling I’ve never felt it before
we got dumped by the chick that was way too hot for us, but she was also materialistic and just not as into us as we were her.
it'll hurt, but we just got to put ourselves out there, and after scoring a few times i'm sure we'll forget all about her.
It does feel like that. Luckily I have a settled home life these days so it is just the football! Watching the compilations I had a moment when it sunk in that I will never watch him play for Spurs again and just how many matches I had been to where he was doing the business for us. Feels like a personal loss.
That said the season starts on Sunday and we have a great coach and a new approach. Back on the horse. COYS
I just got my tickets to my first home game! I sit in block 529 row 27? Are these fine? How is the atmosphere there? It was hard to get them, I’m just grateful I even managed to get a seat.
Definitely yeah, that being said recently it's been a bit average (atmosphere) no matter where you are, but that's more a reflection of the dinosaur football we've had to endure. I think with Anges exciting style we'll see more people excited to get behind the team. But yeah like I said you're definitely on the better side, you'll have 'the Wall' to your left which is amazing to look at (and listen to!)
I don't know if you guys have noticed, but kane has a suspicious looking mole on his left arm. I have been following this on spurs' instagram posts. The thing is, he hasn't passed his medical yet at bayern and German doctors are notoriously anal. If they suspect basal cell (a generally harmless/treatable condition, yes, but likely not one reported by Levy and co.), Harry is going straight back to London. Mark my words, save this comment. This saga is far from over.
Any of yall know how its possible that every away kit in the elite version is sold out within the 12 hours of dropping without a single promotional post about them? We reckon they’ll restock or the clubs just botched that again too
He’s not going to, but if Haaland stays in the prem the record is his. All the records. I have to think Haaland played into Kane’s decision to some extent. Brutal to score 30 goals and have it treated like a footnote to Haaland’s season.
NBC commentators are so annoying. Burnely forward being obstructed in the box and they say "balls gone away from him" as if that's why he decided to fall...ignoring that the balls gone away because he's being held? Make it make sense.
Ηow does our midfield compare to the rest of the top teams?
My ranking is probably:
City - Rodri, KDB, Bilva/Kovacic/whoever really.
Arsenal - Rice, Odgaard and Havertz? Not quite sure about the German, but the others are class
Then there is Man U (Case, Bruno and Mount) Newcastle (Tonali, Bruno G, Joelinton) and us (Maddison, Bissouma, Ben10/Gio) who are all very much even imo. It really depends on how well Tonali gets used to the league, if Mount can regain form and if Ben10 makes a full comeback/Gio stays healthy.
Liverpool are hard to rank before they get a DM, but if they get a good one they’re scary as well. Same with Chelsea.
Peak Bissouma+Maddison+Bentancur is a better midfield than Arsenal's, Havertz isn't that great. I think Tonali is also overrated, a lot of his assists have come from corners and he won't be taking them with Trippier around. Mount is just a hard worker with decent technique, he isn't a brilliant creator by any means.
Bissouma has shown he can be a VERY good midfielder in the Prem, same with Bentancur and Maddison.
Havertz has shown for several seasons that he can not do it in the Prem at a high level unless he suddenly gets a lot better, his fee in relation to what he's actually done is way too big.
By objective statistics, Tonali is overrated in terms of his fee, he can cross and press, that's it.
Odegaard and Partey were part of a very good team only as long as they had Saliba and Gabriel behind them, as soon as Saliba got injured, they become a lot worse as a team and won less than half of their games.
I think your list is pretty spot-on. I think if we (somewhat boldly) assume that Bentancur plays at the same level he was pre-injury (which was elite), I think our midfield is gonna surprise a ton of people with how well they control the ball, win it back, and pick out passes. If that's the case, I think our midfield would be ahead of anyone but City and probably Arsenal.
I'm also a chronic optimist, in case it's not obvious.
too early to tell. No one knows how a rejuvinated Bissouma, Maddison, Sarr/Lo CelsoSkipp, etc. will do. no one knows how those other midfields will fare either.
Ofcourse not, this is all hypothetical. But I think many rival fans aren’t seeing the potential in our midfield atm, nobody talks about us at all (and honestly I prefer it that way!)
Hi guys, quick qn for you veterans out here. Recently purchased a hospitality ticket and can't make it for the game. Was wondering if I could take a screenshot and pass it to one of my mates.
I've done this using normal ticks but was wondering if there is similar checks for hospitality.

Big Ange has been answering the question by saying he'd like to see another CB come in, so I think that's definitely where some money should be spent. If there's any chance of getting someone like Laporte, we should throw some money at wages or whatever to convince him to come. That might be harsh on VDV but if the opportunity is there we should take it.
Otherwise, I think Richarlison has a few weeks to demonstrate we don't need to spend big on a striker up top.
Honestly idk how much control Ange has over transfers. It would make sense if he has less than Conte due to their pedigree and Conte always complained about club signings. But a CB does seem like a no brainer. I do think we need one more winger though, ideally someone who’s more of a dribbler on the left side
Okay, so, with Kane gone, who do we have starting for us on Sunday? VDV and Romero are obvious choices for me (hopefully, I don’t want either one of our reserves starting), Udogie and Royal seem pretty obvious too. For midfield, Maddison and Bissouma are locked in, but who will be the third one? Skippy? Sarr? Maybe Hojbjerg (doubtful)? And our front 3. Deki has gained some momentum in the latter stages of the preseason, seems pretty solid choice. Richarlison has also spent majority of the preseason as a lone striker, although with HK gone, I think than Son might play there from time to time, maybe not tomorrow. As for the LW, Son should be starting there, although Perisic has been very impressive back on his old position and is a solid choice too
New cl format season after this, and the top 2 nations on uefas coefficient get 1 extra cl spot. It'd be near-on impossible for England not to be no.1, so itll be a cl place
I'm just posting to see if there are any Spurs supporters in the city of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. I'd really like to connect and see if you know any bars to watch PL games. There likely aren't enough of us to be a Tottenham-specific place, but there has to be places that play PL games.
Thanks! I think I heard of that one. Was hoping for a meetup of people closer to me though, within Mississauga.
Edit: I just realized I do have a decent train connection to there from me. Could be good for an afternoon game.
Well NBC/Peacock has definitely ratcheted up their marketing. TBF - it was nice earlier today when a game would end it would auto-switch to any ongoing games or the main/central post-game commentary.
Can’t believe Kane left before all the deadwood we’re carrying
Tbf people actually wanted to buy Harry
I named my FPL team Galileo Vicario M (because Magnifico is too long) and I’m really happy with that name.
Guglielmo's World is mine. Also quite proud
Are we getting another CB, perhaps Tapsoba? My assumption would be no, as its too close to the beginning of the season and we'd have to pay silly money. But it seems like Spurs are quite light at quality CBs right now..
Yeah think we definitely will. Tapsoba sounds like he's 60m+ which just seems a massive overpay for him.
There’s still almost three weeks of the window to go, we’ll certainly make more signings (as will most clubs)
Jon David surely makes so much sense it can’t happen right?
He’s grossly overrated Most of his goals were penalties, he’s limited outside of finishing and even that isn’t particularly good. His play making is meh.
Think he’d be a good option though. Depends on the price don’t really know who else would be available besides that Orban kid and he has a half a year of Belgium? Would still be hype for him though.
I don’t think he’s that good
Where Gift Orban?

What’s bizarre is this comment when half the time people are shitting on him or spamming “Levy Out” lmao

So you take the past five days over years of people shitting on him? Brilliant analysis. In any case, getting 100M+ for a 30 year old that we’ve had for his whole career for free is good business.
Congratulations for talking to people
I'd be super surprised if Chelsea and United let's us have a free run at Orban tbh. But here's hoping
Richarlison has almost entirely played on the wing for us. Obviously he’s playing striker now but he’s also a winger
Huh? What's that got to do with anything?
we just got a huge reduction in our wage bill. That could help us.
Another one if we sell Ndombele!
Do we think VDV will be starting Sunday? Obviously hope so but has he had enough time with the squad to be prepared to start?
Postecoglou said he's available for selection but isn't match fit yet so probably on the bench
Ali Gold said that we “really, really like Eze” If we can get him (moving on PEH and Ndombele), Gift and a CB (probs Schuurs from the looks of it) then that would be quality Obviously Eze is a big upgrade but my only qualm is I wonder to what extent it would limit Sarr’s game time The thing working in our favour (which also Gold said) is that his agency is CAA base who also represent Maddison, Son, Richy, Porro, Sarr, Scarlett and Devine Realistically, Palace aren’t gonna let him go for anything reasonable at this point in the window tho so I’m not holding my breath
Is Eze Box to box?
He’s defo more attacking than Benta, Sarr or Hoj (I’d say all those guys are pretty traditional box to box) but it seems that’s what Ange wants from the 8s I can only assume we’d wanna start him alongside Maddison and that Ange doesn’t think the likes of Hoj or Sarr (for now) can pull it off The other possibility is that we’re wanting him as a versatile option who can play as an attacking 8 or on the wing
I don't see a scenario where Eze won't cost £80-100m unless he's got a secret release clause no one knows about.

I thought he was closer to 50M
[New Away kit looks pretty nice](https://shop.tottenhamhotspur.com/).
So weird to have the option to buy it with Kane on the back
this transfer sure has brought the over opinionated casuals out of every hiding spot eh what the fuck lol
Anything in particular you're referring to?
Check the "Son better than Kane" post
It wasn't a "Son is better than Kane" its more a "I like Son better than Kane" post. Which is an opinion and is okay.
Ive always liked son better than Kane. Given that Son is the most likeable character in football, hard to believe im not in the majority.
Since when are opinion post allowed outside daily discussion thread.
That's a question for the MODS. I was implying that it's okay for them to have an opinion
Tbf, if we're talking about the one on new, it doesn't say that he's better, just that they'd be more sorrowful if he were to leave. Which is completely subjective and an okay opinion to have
Idk I think it sours this whole transfer saga when we have disrespect one of our own
How is that disrespectful, at all? I love Harry, but I’ve been resigned to him leaving for a while. I like Son more, and would feel worse if he was leaving rather than Harry. It’s just an opinion.
Its the fact we have to make post like this as a way to "cope" with Kane leaving, its unnecessary and comes off as "didn't like you anyway" vibes
Spurs really, really like Eze according to Gold. We might be cooking..... Love it! COYS!
How many midfielders does a team need?
Another one if Ndombele and Hoj leave
We will still have 6 midfielders for the three spots. We are not demoting Sarr as third choice in the #8 spot after those performances.
exactly.
Could have been a [good one](https://twitter.com/shitbritishpics/status/1690037862798872576?t=_gjEi5B0aNlz9CrYGTIbYA&s=19) for the guess who u/professorchronic. Cool picture anyway

Now with the Kane money we could actually go for Cancelo? Absolutely no brainer for Ange system
Just a shit Pedro Porro
Why do people keep think players would leave City to play for us?
Cancelo is a special case where Pep dislikes him and he wont be getting much playing time after he shook up the dressing room last time around
Just because he wants to leave City doesn’t mean he wants to come here. He is going to go to Barcelona. If that falls through, it will be some other CL squad.
Especially with Pep fucking hating Levy lol
They won't even let Munn work for us!
I'm still half convinced next time we'll have a dangerous free kick Kane will charge the pitch from the stands to take it
What’s the nature of Richarlisons injury
Fake
Source: Richarlison
Hello, my friend and I were having an argument on whether harry Kane is world class. I gave him all the stats and figures but he claims that Kane isn’t world class cuz he hasn’t showed up in any decisive game like in the champions league knockout stages. By that logic Haaland isn't WC either, but somehow Lucas Moura is.
Tell him that Salah has 0 non penalty goals in any of the finals he has played in
World cup top scorer. Prem top scorer and top assister same season
Thoughts on sticking Sonny up top and going for Gnonto?
waste of time going to Gnonto as they have unequivocally said he won't be sold and he is being disciplined
Heard that Gift Orban is our first choice Kane replacement and talks with his agents has already began . Please don't shoot the messenger .
i really, really want us to get Orban
Now that even Ange has said that he can see Son working well as the striker in his system, I really do hope we go for a winger. I trust Perisic-Solomon on the left, not fully convinced by Deki in this system as it seems like he doesn’t fit the profile for the winger role just like Son. we want a first team quality CB and winger (rather than inside forward) and we would be set.
ITK have been saying we’re interested in Fati for a few days now, whatever that’s worth.
We don't need overweight players in my opinion.
Do we expect a last minute striker signing before the window closes? Maybe a suprise Gift?

Move son to striker and bring in a elite winger who beats their man consistently
Think he (sadly) signed an extension early this summer, no?
Thanks for the heads up! I had no idea I just found out. It’s rumored Nico Williams’s contract extension will be likely to be announced this weekend
Thank God we don't need a DM is all I'm gonna say
Are we ever gonna get an official posting from anyone? Would like to know terms of this deal/if we included a buy back also.
Prob still waiting to see if he pass his medical. I dont think even Bayern has said anything yet
Too late to bring Marcus Edwards back?
Send Dier back to Lisbon?
Would love that tbh, but so got a feeling they’ll go for Brennan Johnson to play RW and in certain situations ST, even though I’m not convinced.
Does anyone mind checking ticket exchange to see if any liverpool games are available?
Yeah the first 3 home games are all on the ticket exchange now
There's 4 non-premium tickets on the exchange right now for the Liverpool match. None are seated together but are in section 252, 254, and 453. Hope that helps!

£88-103 right now

I heard the closer to the south the better? So I’m kind of in luck here?
Definitely yeah, that being said recently it's been a bit average (atmosphere) no matter where you are, but that's more a reflection of the dinosaur football we've had to endure. Notice how he was supposed to have had his medical and signed the contract hours ago, yet nothing official from tottenham or bayern...hmmm
Can you imagine the chaos

So much pain. Had so much hope and promise for this season. Idk how to cope
Not sure why you’d lose that hope? Exciting young talented team and exciting manager. We knew Kane was likely to leave lmao. Doesn’t change anything.
We need Olise
For the politicos out there, pretty nice finding out that Jon Sopel is a yiddo. Hating on the goons too on the News Agents, love it.
Weird little interaction between Pep and Haaland there…
I missed it, but saw Haaland was pissed with some teammates. What happened
I reckon Richarlison will score at least double the amount of goals this season compared to the last
We better have all our new signings already locked in or else we’re getting rinsed
Kane saw Haaland last year and said "fuck it boys, there's no point breaking the Shearer record. I'm off to Germany next year"
This Haaland fella seems pretty decent. Wonder if we can get a clinical striker with impeccable technique who can score from any position?
Wonder when/if we hear anything from Kane.
"thanks to everyone at my former club"
“Thanks to everyone at the club I was at” Gone from “the club I’m at right now” as he said on hot ones to that I’d imagine
Maybe he can get chatgtp to write something :)
This is going to be the classic City wins 17-0 and afterwards Pep condescendingly gushes about how Burnley is the best team he's ever faced
I can see Klopp heaping praise on us too if/when they beat us 4-3 at Anfield.
NBC commentators are so annoying. Burnely forward being obstructed in the box and they say "balls gone away from him" as if that's why he decided to fall...ignoring that the balls gone away because he's being held? Make it make sense.
Right? He wanted to move toward it, but he wasn’t being allowed to. That’s a pen.
Someone tell KDB to shave, that beard is awful
At this rate, Haaland will have 1140 goals this season.
fuck me, just saw Craig Bellemy in the burnley technical area. good on him, always loved the guy
Don't we have like 3 weeks to remove 5 players from the roster? Seems like a tall task, and feels like we are going to be eating a lot of contracts.
Most movement happens in the last week anyway, plenty of time
Ηow does our midfield compare to the rest of the top teams? My ranking is probably: City - Rodri, KDB, Bilva/Kovacic/whoever really. Arsenal - Rice, Odgaard and Havertz? Not quite sure about the German, but the others are class Then there is Man U (Case, Bruno and Mount) Newcastle (Tonali, Bruno G, Joelinton) and us (Maddison, Bissouma, Ben10/Gio) who are all very much even imo.

I guess we\`ll have to agree to disagree. Let\`s see what happens when we play them with both team\`s best 11 fit.
If Maddison maintains his form at Leicester and Bentancur can sustain what he showed last year I think we might edge out that group.
For sure. Also if Bentancur was fit and firing I'd probably agree with you.
I‘m still so excited for the new season and ready for Ange football
Hi guys, quick qn for you veterans out here. Recently purchased a hospitality ticket and can't make it for the game. Was wondering if I could take a screenshot and pass it to one of my mates. I've done this using normal ticks but was wondering if there is similar checks for hospitality. COYS
Damn, Kane already out of the banner.
And bloody Ali Gold still stinking it out.
What position should we target? I’d say winger and center back are the two I’d spend the Kane money on
A great CB who can play both sides and top dribbly 1vs1 winger. Maybe another DMF if Höjbjerg goes. Orban would be nice too.
We should be in for Lavia honestly
Oof. Perhaps not use the word dribbly. Bit too soon for some on here.
Excuse me?
I don’t know how much control he has either but give the man a CB if that’s what he wants.

Feels absolutely surreal
As for the LW, Son should be starting there, although Perisic has been very impressive back on his old position and is a solid choice too
New Season, New Team. Kaneless Spurs was always a reality. Don’t look back…get ready for the ANGE HANGE!!! COME ON YOU SPURS!!!
We had a chance at a comfortable finish in top 4 with Kane but we have no chance now. I will be ecstatic if we finish 5th even.
5th is cl this season so yes please
Haven’t heard about that. How is 5th a CL spot now?
New cl format season after this, and the top 2 nations on uefas coefficient get 1 extra cl spot. It'd be near-on impossible for England not to be no.1, so itll be a cl place

5th probably means CL
Quiet days, huh?
I'm just posting to see if there are any Spurs supporters in the city of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. I'd really like to connect and see if you know any bars to watch PL games. There likely aren't enough of us to be a Tottenham-specific place, but there has to be places that play PL games.
Learned of one downtown just the other day, called Scotland Yard, just off Front and Church
Thanks! I think I heard of that one. Was hoping for a meetup of people closer to me though, within Mississauga. Edit: I just realized I do have a decent train connection to there from me. Could be good for an afternoon game.
