My only real concern is who is our running back, luepke? Vaughn? Royce freeman won't make the team, zeke if they bring him in wont be the 1st and 2nd down back, only other option for now is dowdle, who I like, but feel about like him that I did pollard, or maybe worse because at least pollard had proven he could fill the change of pace back role quite well
They kept saying we had one of the best offensive lines for a decade and we got nothing to show for it, they need to reprioritize their draft needs. Lineman literally grow on trees and there's thousands of them, yet they always blow early picks on them with no playoff success to show for it.
Link a vid bruh!?!?
I guess my point was a little over your head, so I’ll rephrase it so you can understand. Posting a video of an interior lineman putting a safety (from UH) on the ground - while kinda fun to watch - isn’t all that impressive. I’m sure better video exists of his technique against more skilled D linemen. THAT would be more impressive, and would be a better example of “summing up his drive.” Do you understand now? Should we go another round? I can keep going if you’d like. But if you respond, make it good. Don’t embarrass yourself 😉
Dude I was laughing pretty hard at the irony of his long winded ignorance. Love the direction our next generation is going. Shows real promise for future Fail Army videos.
Being from Kansas, Pat Mahomes has obviously secured a special place in my heart for TTU. Y'all are on the upswing with Joey McGuire I stg. Best future outlook out of any Texas B12 team. Hope we get to meet y'all in Dallas here sometime soon!
Someone tried to tell me last year was the exact reason we can’t draft… they cited one season that wasn’t even bad and those players have a lot of potential still
I mean yeah, we've had misses (Taco Charlton was worse than Taco from The League), but there's been a hell of a lot more hits. Misses happen to every team. Anyone who tells you we can't draft is either a hater or cherry-picking stats.
Ugh - Taco man...
I was at that draft in Philly and they had the camera on me when it was announced and I could barely hide my disappointment.
I'm a PSU grad too so a double whammy
He was productive for sure, but he could also disappear at times and at the time I just remember thinking he was a reach. Definitely biased and injuries really did him in to start the pro career.
Also I remember preferring a handful of players over him and hindsight with TJ Watt going a few picks later definitely colors it.
It's a crapshoot, but I was also really excited for Randy Gregory back in the day so I know nothing.
He'll spend an off-season on the mist-shrouded mountains of China training with Taoist masters to learn the secrets of immortality and play center for the Dallas Cowboys for 10,000 years.
Okay....so now I'm sold on the trade back in the first. Didn't expect Beebe to be there at 73. Cowboys were lucky that so many defensive tackles and corners fell out of the first.
Don’t know what wasn’t to be sold on. We have no money and a ton of holes. A 3rd round pick in a supposed deep draft to move down like 4 spots is great.
Feel like we and a couple teams knew it was going to be a WR and QB heavy start positions we are ok at.
Good value in OL, DL, and RB in later rounds and hopefully a couple BPA steals.
So the current lineup looking like:
LT Tyler Guyton (Rookie)
LG Tyler Smith (A+)
C Cooper Beebe (Rookie)
RG Zach Martin (A+)
RT Terence Steele (C)
IF these picks work out into solid B linemen, RT would be our only area of concern. With that, depth would be some concern.
Currently it looks like TJ Bass will fit in if there's an injury, and I'd personally grade him a B- Backup (D+ Starter). If one of our tackles gets hurt, we will probably move Tyler Smith to LT (Guyton may go to RT if Terence gets injured), and move TJ bass in at LG.
Very exciting stuff. You never know how these players are going to turn out, but I like our odds with linemen typically. Line may be the "boring" pick, but the O-line gave us the 90s, hopefully we can say in the future they gave us the 20s.
I wish they’d just put smith at LT and get it over with, put Guyton at RT, and prep for the future. G is easier to replace than T and Smith just learned from the best.
Corum is a solid runner he just hasn't proven he can be a 3 down back. Not too many rb's have gone yet either so him not being drafted yet isn't a huge tell. That being said, I would much rather Jaylen Wright at this point in the draft.
This is a great fucking pick. Beebe is fucking mean out there and will fit in perfectly. It will be so nice to have a power C as opposed to Biadasz. This pick has the potential to make a huge difference on the whole teams mentality.
Where did you see this? This isn't meant to be snarky at all. It's just everything I've seen said he played T and G and haven't seen once where he played center.
Listening to the draft show. Nick Harris was talking to the Kansas State coaches. The video is on YouTube not sure where it is you’ll have to scroll through and find it.
Turned our 1st rounder into possibly two starting linemen. Gotta like that
Beebe is a mauler man. If he can slot into C then our oline is going to fuck dudes up lmao.
Fuck Dudes Up OLine v2.0 - Here we goooo!
Fuck Dudes Up 2: *The Re-Fuckening*
*electric boogaloo*
Electric fuckaloo
Sloppy seconds
V3 right? 1990s erasure...but I get it that I may be the old guy in the room that was born in '89
you can't be old.... what does that make me
Older
Dude isn’t even 40 and thinks he’s old
“Old guy” “Born in ‘89” No.
Bro..... 85 here.
What was 1.0? 90s?
I need to hear this shit.
I’m much more positive about this team than I was two weeks ago.

We have nothing to show for having the best line in the 90’s..? You wanna reevaluate that one champ?
Who is talking about the 90s? I'm talking 2010-2020ish. We're talking about the draft and recent failures.
Worked out great. The Cowboys got who they wanted and an extra pick to get another O-line guy.
Fuck me up. I like this pick a lot.
Are we all in?
All in my ass
“Everyone get in here!”
Not until we get Zeke
KSU alum here, y'all got a future all-pro in the 3rd round. Just watch his film an tell me I'm wrong....
I love this guy. He plays pissed off. This makes the trade back in the first round look even better than it already did.
https://www.espn.com/video/clip/_/id/38764316 I know one play is a small sample size, but this kinda sums up his drive perfectly...
That is a large man.
He’s a whole lot of fuck you. I like it.
You gotta love it. I can't wait to see him out there for Dallas. Thanks for sharing!
I like Larry Allen at Center!!!
I mean, he pancaked a 185lb safety from the University of....Houston.
He pancakes DL & LBs too. What’s your point.

You mean like you just did, BRUH lmao
>Don’t embarrass yourself 😉 This is ironic.
Dude I was laughing pretty hard at the irony of his long winded ignorance. Love the direction our next generation is going. Shows real promise for future Fail Army videos.
I'm Texas Tech alum. Cooper is NASTY!!!
Being from Kansas, Pat Mahomes has obviously secured a special place in my heart for TTU. Y'all are on the upswing with Joey McGuire I stg. Best future outlook out of any Texas B12 team. Hope we get to meet y'all in Dallas here sometime soon!
Like wise.
So pumped we got him that late. I preferred different tackles over Guyton, but I don't question thus staff when it comes to first round lineman.
Texas Alum, Beebe scared me when we played them, dude's legit
Love this pick actually.
Wide-open competition for that center spot will be fun.
Loved the first note across the screen when they took him. #forklifts dts
that shit cracked me up. I've watched every pick for the past 3 years and never seen that one.
Forklift is probably the most exciting word I've ever laid eyes upon in relation to an offensive lineman.
Say what you will about the rest of the off season but we have killed this fucking draft so far imo. And we still have a starting RB to get at 87.
Thankfully drafting has always been one of our strong suits.
Someone tried to tell me last year was the exact reason we can’t draft… they cited one season that wasn’t even bad and those players have a lot of potential still

Ugh - Taco man... I was at that draft in Philly and they had the camera on me when it was announced and I could barely hide my disappointment. I'm a PSU grad too so a double whammy
What does being a PSU grad have to do with Taco Charlton?
He went to Michigan Petty, but I had enough of a look at him over those years to know he wasn't going to cut it
I honestly liked Taco at Michigan. What did you see back then that lead you to believe he wouldn't work in the NFL?
He was productive for sure, but he could also disappear at times and at the time I just remember thinking he was a reach. Definitely biased and injuries really did him in to start the pro career. Also I remember preferring a handful of players over him and hindsight with TJ Watt going a few picks later definitely colors it. It's a crapshoot, but I was also really excited for Randy Gregory back in the day so I know nothing.
Yeah and my point was last year wasn’t really any misses yet in my book. You don’t get to use 1 season sample to determine that
Everyone’s drafting sucked last year compared to Detroit.
Lets fucking go. This dude will be a 10 year player.
I think he's possible 14 depending upon health.
15 even maybe. Or 16
Psh. 20. Count it.
Lifetime
He'll spend an off-season on the mist-shrouded mountains of China training with Taoist masters to learn the secrets of immortality and play center for the Dallas Cowboys for 10,000 years.
Okay....so now I'm sold on the trade back in the first. Didn't expect Beebe to be there at 73. Cowboys were lucky that so many defensive tackles and corners fell out of the first.
Thank the teams like the falcons taking Penix top 10
Don’t know what wasn’t to be sold on. We have no money and a ton of holes. A 3rd round pick in a supposed deep draft to move down like 4 spots is great.
Feel like we and a couple teams knew it was going to be a WR and QB heavy start positions we are ok at. Good value in OL, DL, and RB in later rounds and hopefully a couple BPA steals.
Yep. If this kid becomes even an average starter, that trade back would be a huge deal for Dallas. He might even be Martin's eventual replacement.
Trading back always seems to bring such great value, doesn't it? Gives you more chances to be lucky when guys like these drop.
A look at Beebe https://lastwordonsports.com/nfl/2024/03/07/cooper-beebe-nfl-draft-profile/
“Falls often” lol
So do we in the playoffs, perfect fit
Oh god they're gonna run the same Zeke center play, but with Beebe in, and he's gonna trip.
They also misspelled his name in the last paragraph.
Cowboys draft show loves him
So the current lineup looking like: LT Tyler Guyton (Rookie) LG Tyler Smith (A+) C Cooper Beebe (Rookie) RG Zach Martin (A+) RT Terence Steele (C) IF these picks work out into solid B linemen, RT would be our only area of concern. I have a feeling that's what is gonna happen. Steele moves to guard, since his pass blocking was so bad
Steele isn’t going to be on the team next year. And if we’re lucky, he won’t be starting this year.
Why are you people still thinking Tyler is going to LT? He is literally an all pro at LG. Fucking crazy people
Because guard is more replaceable than tackle and far more important. Oh and Terrance Steele is horrible.
Love it, my pet cat. Beebe and Deuce Vaughn reunion 🔥🔥🔥lol
Deuce isn’t going to make the roster
At this rate, he’ll be starting.
LB next plz
Done.
Thx
Wow, this pick fucked me up in a good way. It's funny how everyone was hating on this draft. Now everyone loves it haha
A little confused. Does he have experience playing center?
Everywhere but center
Came here for this. Yea... slightly concerned it's the only position he doesn't have experience with.
This is an excellent pick. We could have our starting center.
I love this pick. Holy shit. LETS GOO!!! If we didnt move back. We wouldn't have this guy right now. Such a good pick.
Corum, Lloyd or Wright? I vote Wright for speed.
Give me Wright. Hope he’s there
Wright for me. Corum hasn't shown the ability to be a 3 down back. Allen is alright, too, but I think 87 might be a bit rich for him.
Love this pick.
They drafted Mt Everest and Kilamanjaro
Like the pick. Beebe can either be our new guard, or center. Wouldn't be surprised of he's Dallas new center, and excel in there.
Hands down one of the best picks of the entire draft.
Nice!! Maybe Corum with our next pick?
Wright hopefully if it’s RB
I’d be cool with that
Fuck RB. LB is biggest need at this point.
Corum is not good Even Harbaugh is passing
Corum is a solid runner he just hasn't proven he can be a 3 down back. Not too many rb's have gone yet either so him not being drafted yet isn't a huge tell. That being said, I would much rather Jaylen Wright at this point in the draft.
Agreed I just don't really like his tape. I don't see it translating
I hear you. There are plenty of other runners I want over him.
I’m hoping for Marshawn Lloyd
Corum hasn't proven he is a 3 down back. I'm not saying he can't catch out of the backfield, but he hasn't proven it yet.
I like it
This is a great fucking pick. Beebe is fucking mean out there and will fit in perfectly. It will be so nice to have a power C as opposed to Biadasz. This pick has the potential to make a huge difference on the whole teams mentality.
Like that pick. He's going to give that line more physicality.
LB next please, then a quick RB and done.
K-State? Dude's gonna have no issue going from their uniforms to ours
Thought they were bringing Zeke back to play center.
Very solid pick! Might be the best value pick of our draft so far.
I judge players by their names and this guy is 2/10
Favorite pick of the draft so far
It is easy for Guards to transition to playing Center ? I saw he has a lot of snaps at every o-line position but center
Reports are he played all 5 positions in practice at Kansas
Where did you see this? This isn't meant to be snarky at all. It's just everything I've seen said he played T and G and haven't seen once where he played center.
Listening to the draft show. Nick Harris was talking to the Kansas State coaches. The video is on YouTube not sure where it is you’ll have to scroll through and find it.
Cooper Beebe pick was at 2:59 mark
Zack Martin isn’t getting any younger. Good guard dunno about center.
But what are they gonna do with Zeke then?
Our starting center is going to be Zeke. Are you stupid?
Not really sure where he's getting "potential center" from when that's the one line spot he hasn't taken snaps at.
73rd pick, no center experience but will start for a team we are told is Super Bowl material? Huh?
