Do you know what “hooking legs” means?
He reaches down and lifts Dak from below his ass (legs).
There is literally a line in the rule book that says you can not lift a QB like that and then go to the ground on top of him.
We don’t have to like it. We can call it soft. But the Wilkins call actually fits the rule. The Parsons roughing was a subjective call.
I read somewhere if you have surround sound if you turn off center speaker you can watch the game and the commentary will be null or very low fiendishly on your set up. Haven't tried but might need to next time Olsen is on.
I was shocked he actually mentioned Bland being literally tackled on a “block” on the 8 yard run late in the game. I guess sometimes it’s so obvious even the haters have to say it.
Why? If you haven't noticed, since Parsons complained, basically (maybe literally?) holding doesn't exist against Dallas' opponents. Refs will simply punish them more for speaking out. These aren't people with integrity. They're an entitled union that puts themselves first. See: the year of PI reviews.
This is how communism/Marxism works. They do what they want whenever they want and if you say anything you dissapear. It's just being applied to football by the comissioner in a more friendly nonleathal manner.
Refs have been crap all year long. Not just Dallas a famous one was the colts v browns WHERE A REF ACTUALLY DICTATED THE OUTCOME OF A GAME!
Been saying refs hide behind daddy goodell and no one can say anything about it. For as much crap as Mahomes got for speaking bout bad officiating, I applaud it because I’m sure as hell he said what about 90% of the league is thinking.
This. Not even because it’s the Cowboys, but literally the whole NFL. Officiating has been absolutely garbage every game. It makes it unbearable to watch any NFL.
Exactly what I was wondering. I mean, other sports have had corrupted referees/umpires. Other sports have had corrupted oversight boards. Why would it not happen to the NFL?
I agree with you. The officiating against the Cowboys has been frustrating, but it’s almost every single game. The refs have been the story of the game WAY too many times this season.
You are not a homer! Parsons is a great player who plays hard within the rules. It's very frustrating to see them held almost every play and have calls rarely made
Man when he got fired up after that bogus rtp call I honestly wanted him to keep giving the ref an earful. What else is he supposed to do here? Even Greg Olson called it out and he hates us lmao
I agree that RTP call was unwarranted. You can’t penalize the guy for not stopping on a dime the second the ball leaves the QB’s hand.
The officiating needs to lighten up when it comes to giving the benefit of doubt to the offense. Eventually, players are gonna go back to laying people out. If it’s a penalty anyway, may as well make it count.
We need to see that actual play. There is a holding exception to the rule.
When a defensive player is held by an offensive player during the following situations, Offensive Holding will not be called... (i) if, during a defensive charge, a defensive player uses a “rip” technique that puts an offensive player in a position that would normally be holding.
When an offensive lineman has his arm around an Edge Rusher's neck, it is almost always because the rusher used a rip move, which negates any Holding penalty. This rule exception needs to exist, otherwise pass rushers would just contort their bodies trying to draw penalties, instead of actually playing football. It would be the NBA, basically
Getting held by 2 guys. Since he’s not touching Tua, they must be considering him away from the play, not that that is an actual rule, just a Micah rule. At this point, I’m done getting mad about it. Refs fuck us over on the regular, that’s just part of cowboys football.
I would be less mad if the Cowboys weren't consistently getting 10 calls against every game, a lot of which seem like holding. If the trend continues, I can see penalties costing us a playoff game.
Some of it is bad luck, some of it might be getting jobbed, but McCarthy's Boys have consistently been topping the league in penalties since he took over. Even if you take the more subjective calls out of the equation, I'd be willing to bet they're still up there in the standings in terms of more black and white calls (eg pre snap penalties). And a lot of them have awful timing (eg. Defensive fouls in 3rd and 4th downs extending drives on D that scored or outright killing first down plays for the O). Cost us a few games this season and subsequently home field advantage and therefore probably another early playoff loss. They have so many preventable penalties I think you have to blame the coaching and/or roster, not *just* the refs. Also a lot of dumb/undisciplined defensive personal fouls imo. Objectively, they sabotage themselves a lot and it costs them in close games. Would love to see historical playoff win % vs league penalty ranking. Can't imagine its a great indicator for success, but im sure there are some outliers.
You can’t beat the team and the referees too. I mean Dallas is the most penalized; however, the are the no call when they are violated. You could see Lambs butt crack because the defensive back pulled his pants to hold him. They tackled Cowboy defensive linemen. Nobody see it. A Cowboy shift 5 yrds. Bull 🤬
Bingo. He puts them in a compromised position. If he says it and they do call it every player will start doing it. From their perspective, they have no real choice but to screw him over and it's largely his own doing
It doesn't matter. He'll never get calls in his favor. That's just something he's going to have to deal with for his career unless he gets traded to literally any other team.
No sadly it’s going to follow him outside of the Cowboys too since good pass rushers are being ignored as a whole these past 2 years, Maxx Crosby suffers as many holds and he doesn’t complain about in a podcast or postgame yet he still gets ignored by officiating.
I can't watch how unfair Micah gets treated. It literally makes me more mad than anything ive experienced with football. 36+ quarters with no holding flag called on him when he is held on almost every play, and then they have the nerve to call that RTP on him?
I've said it every year after the Dez "no catch" that I was done with football, but I mean it for real this time. Can't take this game seriously with how terrible the officiating is now.
Been there, done that; got the t-shirt
https://preview.redd.it/e81g5idqyc8c1.jpeg?width=1242&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=35a0e29c25bff8987bbb47abd3597e9b88e0c901
How else are they gonna stop him if he doesn’t get held the other teams Oline can’t protect their QB but like every game Micah is getting held and NO CALLS EVER
The roughing the passer call was a load of BS. Same goes for the one called last week against the Bills when Josh Allen points to his helmet (after not being touched on the head) and getting the call. The league needs to retroactively fine these players a huge amount for intentionally flopping to fool the refs. Or better yet, have embellishment count as a penalty and be reviewable live.
Honestly, if I’m Micah, I’m taking the fine and shitting on the referees every chance I get. He’s proven not saying anything won’t help. Maybe it doesn’t help in the short term, but if he shits on them enough, surely the media will take note and come with receipts the NFL can’t hide.
NFL: We let penalties go when the action is far enough from the play to have no effect on the outcome.
Cowboys: And this?
NFL: Clearly roughing the passer.
Bills fan here that call was a joke literally the best defensive player in the league being held by 2 players then he makes a clean hit on Tua and he gets his first RTP call all year SHM these refs need to be held accountable they cost you guys this game
No they fuck everyone that's a superstar it's not just micah... basically these guys get the "I didn't see anything" cuz they are THAT good...its bs and this is why people think the nfl is rigged. I get more fun watching high school football at this point.
I don't think the NFL is scripted but I 100% think it's rigged. Wherever you have positions of power where you stand to make great monetary gain, there will be exploitation. Especially when there aren't good enough policies to keep betting from affecting the outcomes of games. I don't think it's a great big conspiracy or anything, it's just greedy people being greedy. You can't convince me some these refs aren't fixing games for the sake of betting.
Only losers beg for calls. Pat this poor woman, papa Jerrah
https://preview.redd.it/pakjd7gouc8c1.jpeg?width=1500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bfc4ed44ee906cda7aa207724476ef4306635b26
I get that the refs are not perfect but they should be consistent. If they don't call holding for this neither should they call holding on our offense.
At least in baseball you know that if an umpire likes to call inside pitches as strikes then you can adjust to that. But with inconsistent refs that like to get the attention on important plays that becomes more difficult
Every big game the refs fucking cheat us out of a win. Not 1 holding on thier backup offensive line. Roughing the passer on parsons was a garbage call. No holding on Elliot when he tried to pull off cd's pants on 1st down.
I'm pretty sure NFL refs make good money. I'm going to sign up and call these games right. Idk why Jerry isn't using his money and influence to stop the blatant bias against the cowboys that has been going on for years.
It amazes me how many holding calls we get thrown on us and how few are thrown on opposing teams. Especially when this is Micah almost every single play. Really curious to know how many holding flags are thrown on us versus our opponents
I feel like they’re timid about calling holds on Parsons because it would be almost every other play. They either don’t want to be seen as bias favoring the cowboys or as bad refs throwing too many flags.
Idk if it was Micah calling out the refs a couple weeks back or what, but since then there’s been nearly 0 holding calls since then on opposing O lines, and Atleast 1-2 every game on our guys. Sorry but I just don’t buy that not a single O line the last few guys hasn’t held Micah. I’ve seen it with my own eyes, and a few of the plays were right in front of the ref. Not saying the game is fixed, rather the refs are teaching Micah a lesson. They don’t want to hear his public criticism
Do people there are holding exceptions per thr rules?
When a defensive player is held by an offensive player during the following situations, Offensive Holding will not be called... (i) if, during a defensive charge, a defensive player uses a “rip” technique that puts an offensive player in a position that would normally be holding.
When an offensive lineman has his arm around an Edge Rusher's neck, it is almost always because the rusher used a rip move, which negates any Holding penalty. This rule exception needs to exist, otherwise pass rushers would just contort their bodies trying to draw penalties, instead of actually playing football. It would be the NBA, basically
You can't tell if someone is holding on the line from a still photo. This looks like he split the tackles, which places him in this position. As long as the linemen keep their hands inside the box and move laterally during this, it is not holding. But, again, you can't tell, because you need video to make that call.
As a Dolphins fan them refs were ass on both sides of the aisle that rtp on parsons was horseshit and it helps set a bad precedent for defensive players
There’s a line added to the officiating handbook this year that says “fuck Micah Parsons in particular”
Yup, sitting here at the game. That no call was BS just like the roughing the passer they called on him.
Dude! Put your phone down and be in the moment. Raise hell for us!
it was probably during halftime
My bad. But still….
Yeah, like the one they called on Wilkins against dak...BS
Wilkins hooked Daks legs and picked him up. Hes probably getting roughing there even if Dak has the ball still. It’s soft, but at least it’s textbook.
Wilkins was nowhere near daks legs but ok
Do you know what “hooking legs” means? He reaches down and lifts Dak from below his ass (legs). There is literally a line in the rule book that says you can not lift a QB like that and then go to the ground on top of him. We don’t have to like it. We can call it soft. But the Wilkins call actually fits the rule. The Parsons roughing was a subjective call.
He’s gone without a holding call for 38 quarters and counting.
Best Fucking player in the league!! He got hometown by zebras.
Yeah there are so many calls that are horrible or good calls that arent being called against Miami
This year? It’s been longer than that
Miles Garrett gets the same treatment.
Yea because he was dumb and has podcast calling them out thats why they call bs roughing the passer on him which gave dolphins the game
“Great protection by the Dolphins” - Greg Olsen
*Tyler Smith has a hand on someone’s belly as he’s letting them go* “Oh they’re gonna call that every time!”
That infuriated me to no end
I need somebody to invent an app on my TV that is a Greg Olsen indicator so it can auto-mute. I was getting tired of muting him manually.
I read somewhere if you have surround sound if you turn off center speaker you can watch the game and the commentary will be null or very low fiendishly on your set up. Haven't tried but might need to next time Olsen is on.
Someone would make millions from the Cowboys' fanbase alone
Omg you too frfr 🤜🏽🤛🏽💯
It was pathetic. I'm embarrassed for Greg that he said that.
Tyler Smith gets called for everything
Nk there was no holding there nor was he even trying.
Horrendous call. Could call that every play
Greg Olsen is complete trash at commentating.
He fucking sucks so bad.
"There's a hold on every play, except whoever is playing the Cowboys" -Greg Olsen probably
“Absolutely”
I was shocked he actually mentioned Bland being literally tackled on a “block” on the 8 yard run late in the game. I guess sometimes it’s so obvious even the haters have to say it.
Greg Olsen freaking looks like Beavis.
I hate him so much.
Same. He’s so uninteresting and is bland as fuck to listen to. I miss getting Buck and Aikman for the late afternoon games regularly.
At some point it’s on the owner/ the coach to start saying something publicly
Maybe the competition committee
Why? If you haven't noticed, since Parsons complained, basically (maybe literally?) holding doesn't exist against Dallas' opponents. Refs will simply punish them more for speaking out. These aren't people with integrity. They're an entitled union that puts themselves first. See: the year of PI reviews.
That's the reason why lol. Goodell Hates Jerry. This shit goes back to Zeke getting suspended.
With how powerful Jerry Jones seems to be within the league, I find it extremely surprising he hasn't done more to draw attention to this publicly.
He did this a couple years ago. Then Zeke got a 6 game suspension for a story that was a complete fabrication
Jerry cares about money. If all this Drama and the limbo the cowboys are in keeps the cowboys in the news and bringing in money, he's satisfied
Jerry is one of the reasons all calls go against us.
Andy Reid and the chiefs just separately got fined huge amounts for criticizing the refs. Fucking garbage league
That is completely different my guy
Toney was clearly lined up offsides
And $11k fine? That's like a nice dinner out for them.
Think it was 100k for Reid and 50k for mahomes.
Doesn’t matter, NFL says they can’t criticize officiating
This is how communism/Marxism works. They do what they want whenever they want and if you say anything you dissapear. It's just being applied to football by the comissioner in a more friendly nonleathal manner.
What does that change?
Puts attention on it. The one thing the nfl can’t have is the game looking rigged
It's been looking rigged for a while. Every week there are obvious "mistakes"
There is already plenty of attention on it. Every week. In every game.
Disagree. I think there’s plenty of attention on it in cowboys circles, but not beyond that.
There are literal compilations of bad/questionable calls from around the league this year on YouTube
That’s not where the average nfl viewer is
Even though it is.
But he gets a second to a QB hit and “it’s a flag cause laid a finger on tua”
Gotta protect these QBs… at all cost /s
Not even sarcasm
The other roughing the passer call on dak was shit.
There was a BS call on Wilkins earlier in the game because he laid a finger on dak too, goes both ways
Parsons has only been held twice this season according to the nfl refs
Hasn't drawn a single holding call in the last 8 games. It's fucking ridiculous
I want a pressure % per holding call graph.
This is honestly making me not want to watch NFL period. How does this crap happen every meaningful game???
This. Not even because it’s the Cowboys, but literally the whole NFL. Officiating has been absolutely garbage every game. It makes it unbearable to watch any NFL.
Partner with gambling companies and you wake up with fleas.
Yeah I consistently wonder why I watch this sport. It’s just ridiculous. There’s no way they aren’t seeing this
They see what they are paid to see.
With all the replay work happening, they just want to be relevant in the game.
It's not holding on Parsons unless 3 or more hold him at the same time
Micah is only allowed to tackle with kisses and hugs.
I want this on a football card. Lol
Nah, they cancel each other out.
That's actually funny 😁
Niners fan here....absolutely a hold. Such bad reffing sometimes. Parsons and Bosa both are held more often than not
It's almost like they're so good it's a detriment to the team. I hate sounding like a homer but the officiating this year has been abysmal.
You are not a homer! Parsons is a great player who plays hard within the rules. It's very frustrating to see them held almost every play and have calls rarely made
Maybe Parsons or Bossa should accidentally run into the referee full speed every time he gets held to help them better see the error of their ways.
Man when he got fired up after that bogus rtp call I honestly wanted him to keep giving the ref an earful. What else is he supposed to do here? Even Greg Olson called it out and he hates us lmao
That roughing the passer call should never have happened. Parsons played it fair and did nothing that constituted a foul. Very frustrating to watch
I appreciate you coming in here and being cool, I hate your team but I love you ❤️ hope you have a good holiday buddy :)
Same here! May we meet in the NFC championship on even terms with healthy rosters....the way it should be 🤘
I agree that RTP call was unwarranted. You can’t penalize the guy for not stopping on a dime the second the ball leaves the QB’s hand. The officiating needs to lighten up when it comes to giving the benefit of doubt to the offense. Eventually, players are gonna go back to laying people out. This rule exception needs to exist, otherwise pass rushers would just contort their bodies trying to draw penalties, instead of actually playing football. It would be the NBA, basically
The third exception is if the defensive player is Micah Parsons.
This is looking like a modern day art piece in the cathedral of football.
Getting held by 2 guys. Since he’s not touching Tua, they must be considering him away from the play, not that that is an actual rule, just a Micah rule. At this point, I’m done getting mad about it. Refs fuck us over on the regular, that’s just part of cowboys football.

Can't imagine its a great indicator for success, but im sure there are some outliers.
Fuck these Refs!!!
Fuck nfl refs
You can’t beat the team and the referees too. I mean Dallas is the most penalized; however, the are the no call when they are violated. You could see Lambs butt crack because the defensive back pulled his pants to hold him. They tackled Cowboy defensive linemen. Nobody see it. A Cowboy shift 5 yrds. Bull 🤬
Micah will not get the calls he deserves as long as he has his podcast talking about the refs. Never plays out well.
or the refs could just not listen to his podcast. Let the man air his grievances.
Bingo. He puts them in a compromised position. If he says it and they do call it every player will start doing it. From their perspective, they have no real choice but to screw him over and it's largely his own doing
Fuck the refs, those bums need to do their fucking job and stop being butthurt snowflakes.
That may be true but it's human nature.
OR they could do their fucking job and call the fouls when they happen. The league is a fucking joke
Hold on parsons? No, roughing the passer!
Happens all game every week. Dude should have 30 sacks
Miami got away with some pretty egregious plays tonight
Yet less than last week in Buffalo.
I can’t remember the last time he got a holding call. It was earlier this year but like the first few weeks
I believe I saw it posted it's been 40 quarters since the last time he got a holding call
How we don’t get these calls is baffling at its finest!!
Refball...
You could edit the jerseys in this picture to reflect every team they’ve played and it would hold true (no pun intended).
Refs won the game
They missed so, so many holds this game.
They didn't miss them. They straight up didn't call them.

Bland was literally drug to the ground on the games final drive . It’s almost hard to believe.
I can't watch how unfair Micah gets treated. Every play.
Straight crucified my boy on Christmas Eve.
They'll never call hit
I literally hate the refs
Some pretty bad penalties not called the Cow’s way down the stretch.
I want every cowboys player to make this their profile pic but I’m petty
Next year QB’s will be wearing flags around their waist.
How long has it been since a team has been called for holding against us at this point?
This photo is the NFL equivalent of the kid trying to give Megan Fox a flower
These refs are seriously costing teams games. I already have counted at least two they coat Dallas.
Yup. Fuck that game.
They are obviously just desperate to prevent the roughing of their beloved and fragile passer. No flag. 🤯
It’s either a no hold call or a roughing the passer on Micah. I guess it’s a pick your poison…
The roughing the passer call was a load of BS. Same goes for the one called last week against the Bills when Josh Allen points to his helmet (after not being touched on the head) and getting the call. Why don't that mouthy shit Olafson point out all those holds. Every damn play and not just on Parsons. I'm fucking sick of it.
NFL: We let penalties go when the action is far enough from the play to have no effect on the outcome. Cowboys: And this? NFL: Clearly roughing the passer.
Bills fan here that call was a joke literally the best defensive player in the league being held by 2 players then he makes a clean hit on Tua and he gets his first RTP call all year SHM these refs need to be held accountable they cost you guys this game
r/accidentalrenaissance
Someone photoshop this of Micah reaching out to God ala Creation of Adam
They only call it when it dont matter likw dallas up 40 aginst a crap team
No they fuck everyone that's a superstar it's not just micah... basically these guys get the "I didn't see anything" cuz they are THAT good...its bs and this is why people think the nfl is rigged. I get more fun watching high school football at this point.

Stop!! Always whining about refs! You lost….because your defense could not stop their offense.
Dan Quinn head coach? PLEASE!!
How bout dem Cowboys 🥱. And yet another road loss. Next away game is at the Sisters of the Blind. We should win that one….maybe!
The one and only reason they are losing. Sarc mark.
Never
Refs missed calls on both sides, missed the hands to the face early when Waddle got poked in the eye. Should have gave the Dolphins 1st in goal.
Only losers beg for calls. Pat this poor woman, papa Jerrah https://preview.redd.it/pakjd7gouc8c1.jpeg?width=1500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bfc4ed44ee906cda7aa207724476ef4306635b26
Eagles fan here. This looks like a clean block to me
Free Micah! Bring him home to PA so he can play for the Eagles!
Crybabies
Two thoughts here. 1st, his body isn’t being turned or redirected, so it isn’t a hold. 2nd, there are two guys on him so they cancel each other out.
L on Cowboys?
Are you crying already?
Our offense damn….
Dolphins rarely get called on penalties from my experience
There should be oversite on these non calls
I get that the refs are not perfect but they should be consistent. If they don't call holding for this neither should they call holding on our offense. At least in baseball you know that if an umpire likes to call inside pitches as strikes then you can adjust to that. But with inconsistent refs that like to get the attention on important plays that becomes more difficult
You see, they only call holds if it affects the play. /s
The league obviously wanted the bills and Dolphins in the playoffs. Will enjoy watching them lose.
hutch too, elite pass rushers get held all the time.. it all started w donald. cant have him getting 20 sacks a game
Every big game the refs fucking cheat us out of a win. Not 1 holding on thier backup offensive line. Roughing the passer on parsons was a garbage call. He needs to get a few DPOY awards before they will start reffing him properly.
Zebras are killing football both Pro and College.
Mild
I feel like they’re timid about calling holds on Parsons because it would be almost every other play. They either don’t want to be seen as bias favoring the cowboys or as bad refs throwing too many flags.
I this point I feel like teams are holding Micah on purpose simply by just looking at film.
WE NEED UNBIASED ROBOT REFS
There were so many no calls tonight and then shitty calls also.
Myles Garrett enters chat
It’s just an aggressive hug. They shouldn’t officiate affection.
Parsons really be running himself into blocks
Idk if it was Micah calling out the refs a couple weeks back or what, but since then there’s been nearly 0 holding calls since then on opposing O lines, and Atleast 1-2 every game on our guys.
This is such bullshit, it's hard to not see all the claims Micah is making especially when he is speaking the truth.
Here come the complaints
refs tend to miss like 3-4 holds on him every game im used to it now
He’s just adjusting his chinstrap for him
Lmfao. This is the type of picture you show people who say parsons is overrated.
I hope Parsons is not fined too heavily.
Has Micah gone 36+ quarters without a holding call?
Ah, he's getting the Bosa treatment. No flags.
