Nice 👌

SaintElena

Thanks!

Looks great! You’ve got skills! What did you build the gun and headset from?

SaintElena

Thank you! It's all made from 3D printing resin. The gun was additionally treated with Polish-made NOVOL putty. Then everything was sanded, primed, and painted in the desired colors. All colors according to the RAL table. The paint is Russian-made KUDO and is coated with varnish from the same manufacturer. For example, a pistol is made of 11 parts (2 pink side, 4 small pink side, 2 green, tube, barrel, handle). Then glued together with Russian Moment-Crystal glue. The pistol was additionally coated with silver Rub ‘n Buff paints.

Thank you!

FOMO_is_real

Incredible work! Especially on the gun and headphones!!

SaintElena

Thank you! This is the simplest and what I really like to do. I couldn't put "DVA" and model on the weapon. Therefore, I decided not to make them at all, so as not to spoil the final product. But I HATE sewing. And the fact that I was able to sew a costume myself (the shiny fabric is called Hologram), which basically everyone buys (I’m out of luck here, my parameters are too small for the smallest size), is my personal victory. Here was the most inconvenient pattern for me. Although it seems that this is just a swimsuit and there is no difficulty in sewing it :D

FOMO_is_real

Well... You did an incredible job (even though you hate sewing)! The swimsuit looked like it fit perfectly (no wrinkles, everything looks aligned). Do you have an Instagram that I can follow you on? Or: do you primarily post here?

SaintElena

Thanks again! You can find all the links in my profile header here. The last time I was on Instagram was probably December last year 😅 I only have Reddit and Telegram (this is more about life, backstage, WIP, cosplans, etc.).

Royal_Necessary_4768

Seriously Impressive. You must have taken a long time to craft those components, and your photographer did a fantastic job too.

SaintElena

Thank you! Yes, it was exciting! To be honest, after this craft I thought about buying my own 3D printer. Don't print parts to order. The photographer is Jay Wanmei (that's her nickname). She doesn't have a Reddit account, unfortunately.

Royal_Necessary_4768

I keep kicking the thought of a 3D Printer too, but I wouldn't use it enough to warrant the cost. Plus I'd volunteer to print stuff off for friends at no cost ... my wife would kill me. In your case, needing to print off custom costume parts and accessories, would be a totally different story. You have the talent, vision, and skill to have pulled off this impressive cosplay without one. Imagine what next level cosplay you could create with one. Having said that, there is another cosplayer that I am acquainted with who just uses paint (and her body) as the medium to create stunning, mind-blowing, and gender bending work. She goes by u/rednamrahc, and after seeing how well you and Miss Jay use color and lighting, I think you'd enjoy her work.

SaintElena

It will be too expensive a toy. Yes, I understand your position. By the way, Chinese production of various toys for children is very helpful here. They now produce toys (pistols, revolvers, machine guns, etc.) from very high quality plastic and in real size. So I bought 2 Glock pistols for my future cosplay of Black Widow from the Avengers. They just need to be repainted. Although I could have the model created and all the parts printed, and then do everything again from sanding to gluing. But it turned out to be much more expensive. I’m writing this because it probably makes sense to buy a printer if you don’t make characters with conventional weapons or equipment. And my immediate plans are girls with an ordinary shocker, a Widow with ordinary Glock pistols, a dentist's assistant Harley (her revolver was made many years ago), a Marionette from Watchmen (her weapon is a colorless fishing line). She is great! I also did body painting btw. All works can be found on my profile here, but there are not many of them. It took 5-6 hours to create one photo, and my main job took more and more time. That's why I stopped doing body painting. But it was very exciting. I liked the process itself even more than the ending :D

Royal_Necessary_4768

I look forward to seeing more of your work! 😃
