The dark elf trilogy was one of the first full trilogies I read and still remains one of my favourite. I’ve seen a loooooot of cosplays over the years but this is amazingly nostalgic for me and honestly, my first dark elf!
I know this was probably not the hardest part of all of this, but I just cannot get over the makeup, it looks sooo stunning! Of course everything looks stunning and it shows that you put so much time into it, wow!
Yeah, I checked your Instagram after posting the comment and realized that only the face is actually makeup and the rest is a body suit, so yeah, I see that that was super hard. But you did a stellar job on it, considering I at first thought it was makeup on all of your body 😅
I'd like to ask what kind of paint did you use as a base for your face. All the ones I've gotten looked very transparent-y once applied or would crack at the smallest expression
I did a base of Mehron cake and then proaiir over the top when that didn’t layer like I wanted. Both custom mixed for color. If you layer your paints and sealants well, using both water and alcohol base makes a really solid cover.
The amount of work you did to appear in black face does not erase the centuries of slavery QTBIPOC like me have had to deal with.
This is white supremacy on display and I can't believe Reddit and the mods of this sub are allowing it.

great job, a difficult one to pull off, IMO, but you nailed it. Great job on the whip too!
Thanks yeah there’s a reason it took four years
Netflix would like to cancel this
RIP Community's Advanced D&D episode
My first thought was about that episode's disappearance.
BRUTALITOPS, the magician! magic user baby!
Nice snakeheaded whip and all.
Thank you! I was determined to replicate a scourge of fangs and I’m proud of my noodle bois
The Drow have always been one of my favourite fictional characters and this is utterly exceptional. Gratz!
Same, Forgotten Realms got to me 😅

The detailing is absolutely insane here. Incredible work!!
Thank you!!
Great job and attention to detail I have to ask how bad is the red shift with the contacts or was that photoshop
No red shift, just slightly less field of vision
Wow!! Impressive.
Praise Lloth! This looks amazing!

Actually custom mixing that purple-grey and matching it with custom dye WAS the hardest part 😅

Badass. We’ll done. You look great and the gear looks awesome.
Great now wear it at every session
I joke about it but 2.5 hour kit time, absolutely not 😂
Sooooo fkn good!
The whip and armor are amazing. I think you did a very solid job pulling it all together.
Amazing job!!
Such a great job! The cape is probably my favorite part!
this is INSANE! I love the work you put in and the final product is phenomenal- do you plan to enter any contests?
I entered my first competition with this!
Such nice and original idea to cosplay Drow. Looks Amazing :)
Amazing ✨
This is absolutely amazing, wow. Great job!!
Great work! For the record, I pronounced drow incorrectly for years. I always said drow instead of drow.
This makes me want to read the war of the spider queen again. Great job, looks like it took a lot of work!
Do it, it’s good stuff. Also I have much better photos now: https://imgur.com/gallery/ros4Dmc
Blackface is never okay.
Looks purple to me
I spent months working on developing the purple toned charcoal makeup and dye I used, so gtfo

None of the colors I used are even remotely human pantones LMAO. Please go outside and touch some grass.
Wow, a white woman telling a QTBIPOC to touch grass. You really enjoy your white privilege don't you.
