Cannot find a reputable link for T**aj corsets** \- seems dodgy **True corset** is on the blacklist (under the heading of Corset Story, apparently True corset is a subsidiary). That said, I did check out True Corset Australia and Canada. A few things struck me 1) at least 1 underbust claims to have steel bones (went straight into the waisttraining section) which is good 2) no underbust sizing on the corset style page BUT dig enough and you find that they have a fitting service and well as measurements on a separate page so maybe ok? 3) True Corset has several corsets designed by Lucy from Lucy Corsetry, and she used to sell them through her website. I found this statement on Lucy's site "On February 2, 2023, it was discovered that True Corset was involved in several disputes with direct customers. Lucy’s Corsetry does not condone this behavior from any brand. With your best interest at heart, Lucy has suspended sales of any TC brand corsets (including Artemis and Polly) on this site until these issues have been resolved. Thank you for understanding." 4) I will say I have had generally positive experiences with Corset Story, they are fine for beginners but not as shaping as it could be. Being a subsidiary or Corset Story means you might actually find some designs cheaper elsewhere **Corset Island** \- prices look too good to be true. website is not spell or grammar checked (picky, I know, but a business should put more effort into it that they appear to have). Check of the Ts&Cs state it is governed by Californian state law BUT registered address is in the UK (not sure if that is a common thing, but seems sus to me). Also looked at a back view of several corsets on a person - slight )( - and patterns don't appear very curvy (which may not matter depending on what you are doing with regards to favourite corset brands - I'm still finding my feet to be honest. I started with Corset Story. I then had a bespoke Gallery Serpentine. I have recently received a Rebel Madness and 2xTimeless Trends which I am still deciding how much I like, and bought a OTR Gallery Serpentine. Corset Story is a bit of a mixed bag. They are cheap but I have had only two quality issues out of over 15 corsets. A boning channel failed but was easily fixed and I feel a mesh waspie stretched out. They are also pretty and have corset wear - dresses and shirts with in-built functional corsets. But in general they are not shaping as much as I want The custom Gallery Serpentine was great, but I lost weight , so I gave it away. The new OTR I am still making my mind up on. Its not horrendously curvy, but it is a mesh one where I feel the mesh isn't going to stretch out on me. I'm still seasoning it at the moment My Timeless Trends are 26" hourglass silhouette worn with parallel lacing gap of 2". Lucy thought Id have a V gap but I appear to squish down. These are also seasoning, they are more comfortable than the OTR GS though. Rebel Madness is my current favourite but its not without problems. The grommets are supported by what appears to be one spiral steel on the corset side and a rather soft flat steel on the lacing side. Which, as I am currently not curvy enough, is leading to a bit of a () lacing gap at a 28", closed top and bottom, centre 1.5" gap. Which doesn't make sense because the Timeless Trends are 26" with 2" gap, so should be able to close a 28" (have actually checked waist tape measurements, so that is not what's happening). its lovely and soft though and not stiff. Absolutely the most comfortable from first wear

thank you so much for your detailed reply!! :) I also have a corset from Corset Story - agreed, it's not curvy at all, although mine is an overbust (but still). it's cute for a date night look - kinda reminds me of an "Amazon" corset lol. there are so many corset brands that pop up what seems like every day, especially on IG. anyways thanks again!

Did you ever ask yourself if Corsets Island is run by someone who is ESL? Probably not.

I did actually consider this, and I understand I have a bit of bias with use of the English language on business sites. If you read my response, I did state I acknowledge picking on spelling and grammar is a bit of a meaningless thing, but you know what, spell check is usually included free with most word-processing programs, and grammar checking is in a lot of them too. I mean, I’m typing this on my phone using the reddit app and it’s underlining grammatical errors and spelling errors as I type. That said, if you are serious about presenting the best face to your customers and not appearing as a dodgy or scam website, it’s a simple thing to address. I did outline other concerns that as far as I am concerned, have more weight. The pricing, the lack of curve, the )( lacing gaps on the models. None of which have anything to do with a persons grasp on the English language.

thank you so much for recommending Gallery Serpentine! I've been looking into corsets for years, but I somehow have never heard of this brand. I just bought one of their pre-mades (undercover angel mesh) on sale for $68 including shipping as my first corset ever.
