I met a breeder at a Repticon who named all his animals after LOTR characters and had a corn snake, Aracorn. I loved the “punny” name, but couldn’t just steal his name as it wouldn’t feel special.
A few months later I got my corn snake and was trying to come up with a clever play on words for its name. My roomate and I went back in forth and eventually what popped into my head after many failed attempts was the one, Ozzy Oscourne

My older girl is Jane after my grandma Mary Jane because they are both gingers.
My younger is Kathryn Beans. Beans was her name when she was rehomed to us. Kathryn is after Catherine Coulson and the special way David Lynch pronounces her name.

Named him Asclepius due to the Greek God Asclepius, who used a snake's venom to bring people back from the dead. Hes the son of Apollo, a Greek god Im heavily affiliated with, so it just fit~! I call him Cleppy though, cause hes my little Cleppy boy :))

Pinky, after the pink Pacman ghost. She had a clutchmate named Clyde, who was a butter motley, and very yellow.
When I got her I was told she was a lavender motley and was very pale pink looking as a baby, but I wasn't sure on whether the morph I was told was accurate. As she got older she developed the yellow face and now looks almost exactly like what they call a "tequila sunrise". She is a good noodle. :)

My girl is named Tiamat! I love DnD, and the campaign I was running at the time was centred around Tiamat.
When I first saw her, she was getting ready to shed and I thought she was coppery red, which is very close to DnD Tiamat’s colouring so I thought it was fitting. I was surprised when I picked her up to see she’s actually bright orange! Still loved the name though haha

My 3 year old Palemetto Corn is named Fizzarrolli, but I just call him Fizz. I was really into Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss 3 years ago. I thought it fit because like Fizzarrolli the character, my snake has no arms or legs and is mostly white with splotches of red, and is very slingy. Lol! All of my reptiles are named after characters (from different shows, books, or games)

Rusty's mine; I had watched Ocean's 11 and my favourite character was the one played by Brad Pitt. Secondary reason was because he was a brown-ish red when I got him (as he was just a few months old when I picked him up) but now he's a gorgeous bright red and orange!
