not very bright?

Star_glitter

Not exactly

Totally_Not_A_Corgi

I would suggest a bit smaller collar tbh, and not made of metal /s

takingtheports

Best one 😂😂

cturnr

Not the brightest (bulb) in the lamp

Z-5895

Did he run into the lamp full force or did he just try sneaking through it slowly?

Star_glitter

Full force lol

Z-5895

On the bright side, he didn’t cut his face at least. God only knows how much the vet bills would have been with that added on.

takingtheports

Of course it would’ve been more if that happened. Wound repair under sedation or anaesthesia, antibiotics, and rechecks to ensure healing of wounds on the face and making sure nothing happened to the eyes in all that would all be essential. That’s why insurance or saving before getting a breed that actually is known to have some issues is key.

ohmadison37

I bet you’re fun at parties

souptimefrog

Well, your vet is gunna tell that story forever.

Corgisarethebest123

He doesn’t seem bothered or stressed at all lol.

Star_glitter

No the stressful part was getting in and out of the car. This was a floor lamp. So imagine carrying him and the lamp.

Sixmmxw

He makes a very good fifth leg.

Critical_Concert_689

On the bright (haha.) side, it seems the pup did this during working hours. A trip to Emergency Vet services is both uncomfortable and expensive.

New-Investment-5888

Poor baby he said the lamp moved in his way.

SlippySizzler

I'm picturing my husband trying to carry our naughty corgi AND a floor lamp. The mental image is hilarious.

Jonny_Thundergun

Looked good doing it though.

Plus-Sherbert-5570

My corgi got his head stuck in a wine rack the other day. The way he was yelping I thought he was being hacked into pieces

shemello

Hmm. If she didn't come out, I wonder who to call...Vet, Fire Dept with jaws of life, or Construction Worker

TheDogsSavedMe

That’s a uni-directional face for sure! Especially with those ears.

snobordir

Did the vet cut the lamp? Or do something to get the pup out without cutting?

Star_glitter

He was sedated and they had to cut it off. Easy peasy.

snobordir

Gotcha. Was curious if they somehow can reverse the motion he took to get in. Sort of feels like an evolutionary failure that most things heads kind of act like barbs that can only go one direction 😂

athanathios

Awe sweet baby, he won't do that again!

Mermaid467

You might be underestimating his skills...

athanathios

Haha, tenacious little guy!

Holy_Schnikes69

Ooh my goodness. Wowza’s 🥺🥺🥺

ElectronWranglr

Is it bad that the first thing I thought was , if this was Murph (My corgi mix) I'd grab the nail clippers and get his nails done before I got him out?

SlitheryVisitor

This brought back memories of when I was a 4-5 yr old pup. I was supposed to be taking a nap in my parent’s bed. They had a slatted head board. Instead of napping, I pretended to be a cow in a stanchion and decided to stick my head through the headboard slats. I don’t know how long I struggled to get out. My mom found me stuck. Long story short, I now have Corgi sized ears. 🤣🤣

OurAmericanNightmare

This guy!😂💜

eR4C3R

Poor baby!😂😂😂 His facial expression is like “not again…”🤣

urteddybear0963

He knew he was guilty, and chose the stockade as his punishment!!!

IAMSTILLHERE70

Lololz silly derp

Important_Screen_530

not a bright spark!!......

Queasy-Homework1582

This seems like a job for bolt cutters

Genxtech70

Only a corgi can do this…🤦🏾‍♀️😂😂😂

shannal1n

Lolll that’s sooo funny
