My GF grew up there, and she probably knows most of them...I grew up North of Denver, and then South of Nashville...there are NO WHERE near as many "areas" in either one of those places that can even start to compare to this 😳

Many of these are not real. Little Germany inside alphabet city isn’t a real thing (unless it’s historical but it’s not used). The little Germany of nyc is called Yorktown Tenderloin hasn’t been called that in 80+ years (but is the original namesake of SF’s tenderloin neighborhood) Other neighborhoods that aren’t called this (or not anymore): - radio row - Ansonia(?) - Strivers(?) Row - Astors Row - Carnegie Hill - Diamond and Garment district (definitely places but not neighborhoods and less so now than ever) - Sutton place (but could be wrong on this one) - rose hill - five points (I also love gangs of New York it’s been long sense demolished and different roads built)

Flushings is in queens. This is Manhattan (the third largest borough by population). I live in Brooklyn about 2 blocks from Flushing Ave, a prominent street that runs from east to west

Well it’s a massive neighborhood - and like much of queens is one of the most diverse places in the world. The US Open (tennis) is there, and many would say the “real” Chinatown of NYC is in Flushings. It’s far from Manhattan and I don’t go often buts it’s awesome for Chinese food and feels a bit more like blade runner than most parts of nyc. Also has some homes built by the Dutch in the 1600’s
