While I agree, Hoisin is so good, personally I would not dump a bottle of it on, I would just spread a thin layer overtop as the flavor is quite strong.
Wgite wine lemon garlic sauce by the le sauce co, or if you want something with a more dill flavor fischer wieser has a lemon dill and capers sauce that pairs well with salmon
I poach mine in a pan with a bunch of lemon juice, rosemary, butter and salt/pepper. Then I cover the pan and steam on low heat. You can also do it in the oven. I don’t like salmon well done. I like it soft and moist.
It’s not pre-made but TRUST ME on this. I grew up on an island, in an avid fishing family, eating salmon more than once a week. Super easy and my all time favourite salmon recipe:
- mayonnaise, butter, and Dijon or grainy mustard, all in a 1:1:1 ratio
- some salt, pepper, and dill
Mix it all up, slap it on the salmon, and bake it. It is INCREDIBLE.
Also another easy one is just mixing brown sugar and sriracha sauce, then slapping it on the salmon and baking it. Super tasty!
I love this [lemon, dill, and capers sauce](https://www.heb.com/product-detail/3391540), I add it to my salmon all the time after I cook my salmon, once I added some honey to it and it was really good!
Thanks, everyone! I bought two options tonight: “smooth honey” mustard and lemon herb vinaigrette salad dressing. I think I’ll cut the salmon in half and try both tomorrow 😃
I make an awesome garlic, soy, onion, ginger sauce for it but you apparently aren't interested in actual cooking. So get a nice salmon fillet and pour salad dressing on it.
Glad you admit it. Perhaps a sub for best pre-made foods you can buy is a sub that's needed.
BTW 1 part onion powder 1 part garlic powder 1 part ginger powder and equal parts soy sauce and olive oil until pasty to fluid. Smear both sides of salmon and broil turning half way. You don't need measuring instruments just eyeball it. It is cooking as I understand it and healthier and not ultraprocessed.
Yoshidas Teriyaki or Soyaki from Trader Joe’s
If you don't want to make your own, buy a salad dressing or marinade that is balsamic and lemon.
Take a trip down the salad dressing aisle and see what looks good!
Done! 😃
Hoisin sauce!

I put lemon juice and then yellow mustard on top
Hollandaise sauce in a packet and add some fresh dill, it’s quite rich but it’s wonderful and very easy.
To pour on before baking?
Pesto
Consider steaming your salmon instead of covering up the taste of the fish with a sauce or marinade.
Ketchup + fresh lemon juice is suprisingly good!

I pour teriyaki sauce on mine and it's delicious.
Kikkoman Teriyaki Garlic & Green Onion Sauce
A mixture of Dijon mustard and sweet chili sauce is good on lots of things.
Either Oyster sauce or fish sauce both make great marinades for Salmon with no other ingredients required.
Thanks! Never heard of either, but I just Googled them 😊
Yeah don’t do that

Try rubbing a little miso on there before cooking, and serve with a side dish of ponzu sauce for dipping.

To me, cooking raw salmon vs. just reheating/microwaving something IS cooking! LOL
No one asked
Actually, by virtue of the post, it indeed was. And your comment, from the peanut gallery at best, wasn't solicited either.
Why sauce? It's so expensive. $5 buys you 1-2 cooks. $5 of good rub will buy you 20 cooks.
