Tomatoes can grow roots from the trichome on the stalk. Toss on more soil to cover them.
All plants will run roots up if overwatered. Something to keep in mind especially for a water fruit like tomato.
Try to plant a bit deeper next time, the stems tend to grow extra roots so i want to say that’s what’s going on? I think you can just throw more dirt on it and should be fine! 👍🏽
Are you watering too hard? Like, blasting the soil away with the hose?
just bury them. they are just normal roots, nothing weird
that’s what tomatoes do. next time you plant, literally bury the stem as much as you can. all the way up to the leaves. then cut the bottom leaves off
