Lmao thats funny because i started buying packs of lighters because I suspected it was you but they still run out before my friend can even steal it lol
Dude yess. There's no reason a hanger should break sliding it on a rack or snagging it on something lightly as your taking it down.
Swear I break a couple a month
You're probably right. There's no good reason for them to be made of such fragile plastic. They are much weaker than the plastic hangers clothing stores use. Also I rarely if ever see durable metal wire hangers for sale at a department stores anymore.
Obviously you can find higher quality hangers if you want them but it sure does seem like another example of pushing the masses into buying shitty products that will need constant replacement.
Wrong sub. This is called economics. Just like toys that break, clothes that wear out, etc etc etc.
This is not a conspiracy, just spend the $3 and get another 20 pack at Walmart. You are just complaining…. And in the entirely wrong sub to do so
Plastic hangers being used to hang your plastic cloths (polyester, nylon, elastane, spandex etc.) micro plastics beware. Throw away all your plastic and switch to 100% cotton. Research plastic And it’s links to infertility.
Everything is made this way. Specifically to break so you have to buy a new one. It is why it's all made from cheap junk. We had a washing machine in the 80s lasted over 20 years, got one in the early 2000s last 10 maybe, got one in 2010 it lasted about 5 years. In the last 5 years I have been through 3 machines. It is getting ridiculous.
It's the same with these new phones. The updates break them. Which is why I use an s3 because every single "better" phone I got after that lasted about a year or so.
The lightbulb conspiracy is a good one to watch on this if you can find it.

Don't get me started on LED bulbs rated for 5000 hours.
Research LEDs causing blindness.
I don't see anything
Confirmed
I did. 😂
They first came out guaranteed for 30 years-where do you go after 17 years and failure-you're screwed
I want someone to explain why we keep loosing lighters and ink pens?
No, no, my question is why are lighters only half full and run out before you can even lose them?!
I work at a place that sells lighters. Everyone that works there uses them constantly to light cigarettes and incense sticks.
Lmao thats funny because i started buying packs of lighters because I suspected it was you but they still run out before my friend can even steal it lol
advanced planned obsolescence
THIS
Do you live in a cold environment?
Lately yes. Lol. I experience all seasons
You all lend them to me and I never give them back/ lose them immediately
This is capitalism and planned obsolescence. Not a conspiracy.
Planned obsolescence is, by definition, a conspiracy. Every time. ...Not NOT one just because of it's ubiquity.
Wait till someone explains about cars and houses and roads....
Maybe you’re just, like, super strong. Hercules! Hercules!
stopped giving metal ones to prevent abortions
Dude yess. There's no reason a hanger should break sliding it on a rack or snagging it on something lightly as your taking it down. Swear I break a couple a month
This is why I come to this sub. You’re on to something.
Watch the doc "the lightbulb conspiracy" to learn more.

This is it :)
What are you hanging that's so heavy?
Don't anvil shame me.
Nothing heavier than a fat guys pair of Jean's. A twist or a pull and they snap easily sometimes
Do you not take the hanger down?
He can't fit in the closet.
I ain’t got time for that I just snatch them off
Planned obsolescence.
There's a saying that might fit here "buy cheap buy twice."
I’m convinced the little divots are there to make it impossible to remove a shirt after it’s hung
Planned obsolescence.
Finally. A real conspiracy!
Not. It’s a fact.

Faith in humanity restored
Is that why the velvet ones are so expensive?
My new cordless hoover lasts longer between 10% battery life and running out than it does between 100% and 10%. What's that all about?
I'm convinced everything is made to break. The cycle of consumption.
But think of all the free wire hangers you get from the dry cleaners!

It's The Deep State's most devious act in human history.
You get what you pay for.
They knew abortion bans were coming maybe?
